1. "Sharing A Cup Or Two" by Jerry B. of North Carolina

Photo from Jerry B.

As I sit in the coffee shop
I watch people come in
Everyone here is greeted
As a close friend

Espresso, cappuccino,
No matter what the brew
A cup of their favorite
Can bring a smile or two

And when they have a chance
For awhile they’ll sit down
As they share more than coffee
Friendship can be found

I really love coffee
For what it helps us do
We connect with each other
By just sharing a cup or two

2. "Coffee" by Julia H. of Washington

Photo from Julia H.

I am not a coffee addict, per se,
But I know when I enter a Café
The call of coffee, I must obey.
I smell some sweet, sweet vanilla,
A smell oh so maravilla.
I drink a glass of pure caffeine,
My hectic day becomes, oh so serene.
A smooth, melodious, chocolate mocha,
Slides in and down my now drooling boca.
One more cup makes me soar like a dove.
Oh my coffee, you’re the one I love

3. "A Slurp Of Heaven" by Janet L. of Michigan

Photo from Janet L.

A bean
A ground
A cup that's round
A taste
A smell
Perfection found

A sip
A sigh
A "Oh so dreamy"
A moment
A thought
So hot and steamy

Coffee made in so many ways is a slurp of heaven throughout our day.

4. "Why I Love Coffee" by Rachel N. of Georgia

Photo from Rachel N.

Coffee wakes me up
With that first delicious cup.
The aroma makes me smile
Because it lingers for a while.
The taste is smooth, rich, and warm.
It's like the calm before a storm.
An after dinner cup will soothe the day away,
So I may have sweet dreams on my pillow where I lay.

5. "Coffee and Me" by Arthur R. of New York

Coffee and me, it was meant to be, perhaps it was even destiny.
The hearty aroma filling the air has nothing on earth that can compare.
I long for for it nearly all day long overcoming all thought my desire so strong. I cant get enough of its robust flavor without it I'm lost for nothing to savor. I cant get enough of this wonderful stuff I can't bear the thought of not having enough.

6. "Ahh the first sip" by Margaret S. of Arizona

Photo from Margaret S.

Morning has broken, the sun has come up
My eyes half open, I reach for my cup
My senses so keen
As I smell the rich bean
Almost done brewing, the water does hiss
I pour in the creamer, just about miss
Cup poured and ready, up to my lips
Ahh the first taste, just like a kiss....
