The Bialetti Moka Express has earned the distinction of being the world’s most popular stovetop espresso maker. Around the world, more than 120 million cups of espresso are prepared daily using the Moka Express. This stovetop espresso maker’s popularity is easy to understand when you take note of its tough aluminum construction and classic design. Bialetti’s attention to detail is also evident from the technical standpoint—the gaskets are made of 100% rubber to allow them to form tight seals and the pressure valves all have stainless steel springs and ball bearings for maximum durability.
The Moka Express has a hallow base, so it can be safely used on electric, ceramic or gas ranges. This espresso maker can make fresh beverages in 3-6 minutes. The Bialetti Moka Express Stovetop Espresso Maker is available in the following sizes:
3 Cup (4.5oz)
6 Cup (9oz)

I have been trying to figure out how to have espresso when i travel for the last couple of years since I am spoiled with my current home set up. What I have found is that a an old style Bialetti moka pot or similar makes excellent expresso when you are on travel or are camping. I use the same grind and same coffee as my home machine and with a milk frother find I can make an acceptable latte, cappucino, or espresso shot with it. Its not a substitute for my home machine but it is about has good as what I got from a consumer espresso machine. It is my travel solution. Besides a generation of italian grandma's can't be all wrong
