Bodum created the Assam Tea Press in conjunction with the famed English Tea Council to give the user maximum control over beverage strength and aroma. It is made of resilient borosolicate glass prevent staining. The glass is also designed to resist giving off tastes and aromas during the steeping process so that the resulting tea is always pure and unpolluted, in its natural state.
