It's a beautiful thing!
I've had one of these for almost 2 years now and don't see why you would buy anything more expensive. Do not be intimidated by the coffee snobs, just get some consistently ground coffee, experiment with the amount per 4 oz cup, add ALMOST boiling water, and wait 4 minutes. I clean it by hand because I use it everyday. Would put it in the dishwasher, but I don't run that everyday.
