Ceado grinders are the only ones to earn the NSF and UL sanitation and safety certifications in the US. The Ceado E7 has a durable transparent polycarbonate hopper capable of housing up to 3.8lbs of beans. The bean hopper is easy to clean since it has a wide opening, without any obstructions.
The E7 Electric Coffee Grinder has a 400-watt motor for robust operations. A mechanically suspended motor with rubber mounts, ensure that the machine is exceedingly quiet. In fact, it is over 30% quieter than comparable grinders. Unique to Ceado, soundproofing thermoelastomers are black rubber gaskets that hold the motor in place to control sound levels. The E7's motor is not attached to a housing unit, unlike other grinders it is encased in a shell with rubber mounts quiet operation.
All of Ceado’s grinder motors are rectified to ensure perpendicular alignment of the motor shaft and burrs. Ceado motors also feature a unique design to mitigate thermo expansion during the grinding process. This keeps the burrs at the correct distance and value for the grind setting chosen by the user.
This Ceado model has a stainless steel doser with a conical chute; it doses vertically to prevent waste. The dosing stars are held in place with a stay bolt for accurate, consistent espresso dispensing. The doser can be adjusted in 0.5-gram increments to deliver anywhere from 5.5 to 9 grams of coffee per dose.
The doser has a wide opening that allows users easy access to clean and maintain the unit. A conical ground coffee spout is also integrated into the dosing unit to direct espresso into the middle of the awaiting filter basket. The coffee spout is shaped narrower than those of most grinders, allowing it dispense coffee mess-free and accurately.
The grinder is equipped with a see-and-set system and stepless infinitesimal grind adjustments, allowing the user to program grind fineness by simply sliding the ergonomic handle. The see-and-set feature makes it easy for you to calibrate and fine-tune grind settings. The Ceado E7 has precise and responsive grind settings since it has reduced pitch thread.
The sensitive grind adjustments have been paired with reduced lever range to guard against over-adjustment of the grind settings. This feature also prevents the burrs from touching and causing damage to the unit.
The E7 has completely parallel, flat, 64mm, hardened steel burrs that operate at 1400 rpm for consistent coffee grinds. The burrs are made of heavy-duty 6HRC steel. The design of the burrs minimizes wear and tear, prolonging the lifespan of the machine.
The grinding burrs can be removed quickly and easily, since they are held in place by three screws, located at the top of the grinder. Unlike traditional grinders, the E7’s burrs have sealed threads which prevent coffee clogs, thus ensuring a tight seal and increased durability. Coffee grounds will not get stuck in the threads. This advanced design also allows you to remove the burrs for cleaning and maintenance without requiring recalibration once they are put back in place.

Ceado only tolerates up to a 1/100mm differential, compared to their competitors, most of which accept up to 3-5 times this amount. What this means, at the practical level, is that you'll end up with more consistent coffee, with the proper grind fineness for the setting you've chosen.
Along with their attention to grind accuracy, these grinders have also been designed to be exceedingly user friendly. All units are equipped with Ceado's innovative "See and Set" System to allow you to adjust the grind using an ergonomic handle. 
Should you need to remove the burrs for routine cleaning and maintenance, the grinder does not need to be recalibrated once they are reattached. Burr removal is quick and easy, as the burrs are held in place by three heavy-duty screws. The system doses straight down for mess-free operation. You can adjust the doser to dispense 5.5-9 grams of coffee per pull. Every Ceado grinder has been meticulously constructed and features a heavy-duty stainless steel body as well as oversized bean hopper with a generous 3.8-pound capacity.

We recommend the industry-leading Ceado E10 for high-volume establishments. If you'll be serving 100+ guests a week, this grinder will allow you to keep up without breaking a sweat. It has a 740-watt motor and large 83mm hardened steel burrs to deliver fast, consistent results. This unique grinder operates at a very low speed, 690rpm to be exact, to minimize heat transfer and maintain coffee flavor and aroma. The E10 is equipped with a cooling fan to prevent the unit from overheating during heavy use.
On the other hand, if you're looking for a professional grinder for the home or if your business experiences light-to-medium traffic, the E7 would be a great choice. It operates at 1400 rpm using a 400-watt motor. This model has slightly smaller 64mm burrs, compared to the E10's 83mm burrs, and is an excellent step up for customers who wish experience a solid professional-grade grinder.

I have been using the E7 timer model for about 2 months. Fantastic grinder. I grind per shot. very little grind left in doser (less than 0.4 grams). very even grind and super easy to adjust. I paired the E7 with a Simonelli Oscar. Could not be happier. Thanks to Whole Latte Love for offering such a great grinder.
Hi I just wanted to drop a quick note thanking you for convincing me to buy the Ceado E7 timer grinder. I had previously owned another model of grinder to go along with my machine. When I called to upgrade my espresso machine to the Brewtus 4 the salesperson convinced me to purchase the Ceado grinder. I had read about how important the grinder is and I now realize what a difference it makes. I love the way it grinds and how quiet it is. I also noticed how when I pull the lever how the espresso goes straight down into my portafilter. I had tried friend’s grinders and this was indeed not the case. They may be calling you to upgrade. I also wanted to clean my grinder and was thrilled with how easy it was to do and also how I just put it back together and the grind was exactly where I left it. It is my understanding this is unique. I just wanted to say thanks and hope this note helps you convince other people to give it a shot.
