Essential Info:
The Cuisinart Coffee On Demand is one part coffee maker and one part easy-to-use coffee dispenser. Instead of storing the coffee in a carafe outside the machine after brewing, it’s stored in a double-walled 12-cup coffee reservoir inside the machine. Coffee dispensing is controlled by a push-down lever on the front of the machine, and a convenient coffee gauge on the control panel lets you know when it’s time to brew another batch. This innovative internal reservoir design will keep your coffee hot and fresh, preserving your coffee’s flavor for hours after brewing. The Coffee On Demand gives you the choice to use paper filters or the included Gold Tone filter, a reusable permanent filter that creates an aromatic and flavorful brew. An included charcoal filter, designed to remove impurities from your tap water, also enhances the flavor of your coffee. Cleaning is also a snap, with a removable coffee reservoir, drip tray, filter, and filter basket.

Controls:
The Cuisinart Coffee On Demand is easy to use thanks to the simple control panel on the front of the machine. With a function knob, LED clock, and On/Off knob, you can control a variety of settings. If you want to wake up to freshly brewed coffee in the morning, turn the function knob to “Auto On” and use the buttons underneath the LED clock to set when you want the Coffee On Demand to turn on. To set the Coffee On Demand to automatically turn off up to 4 hours after brewing, turn the function knob to “Auto Off.” The function knob is also used to start the brewing cycle and set the clock. If making smaller amounts of coffee, from 1-4 cups, press the 1-4 button below the LED and the Coffee On Demand will alter the brewing cycle accordingly.

This Cuisinart coffee maker has been carefully designed to get the best flavor from your coffee. With a charcoal filter to remove impurities in your tap water, a reusable Gold Tone filter, and an innovative coffee reservoir, the Coffee On Demand makes a delicious cup of piping hot coffee. The shower screen has also been specially designed to evenly distribute water across your ground coffee, so no one section is over-extracted.

Construction:
With stylish brushed stainless steel housing, the Coffee On Demand is a welcomed addition to any countertop. The coffee gauge, dispensing lever, lid and controls are made of durable black plastic to create a modern look. The lid lifts to reveal the removable Gold Tone filter, filter basket, and coffee reservoir. This also provides access to the water reservoir for easy filling or to change the water filter.

Carafe:
Instead of a traditional carafe, the Coffee On Demand features an innovative internal coffee reservoir. This 12-cup reservoir is double-walled, ensuring that your coffee will stay hot for hours after brewing. When your coffee is ready, simply place your cup underneath the dispensing spout, press down on the black lever, and release the lever when your desired amount of coffee has been reached. The coffee gauge on the front of the machine will let you check how many cups remain.

Hot Plate:
Because the Coffee On Demand has an internal coffee reservoir, there is no need for a hot plate. The internal reservoir will keep your coffee hot after brewing and preserve its flavor.

Reservoir:
The black lid on the top of the machine flips open to provide access to the water reservoir. Simply pour in the amount of water you’d like to use to brew and close the lid. You can also check the amount of water in the reservoir using the water level indicator on the right side of the machine.

Water Filtration:
The Cuisinart Coffee On Demand comes with a charcoal water filter to remove impurities from your water. High quality coffee depends on water that’s free of unpleasant tastes and odors. By using filtered water, your coffee is always at its best.

Coffee Filter:
The Coffee On Demand comes with a reusable Gold Tone filter to create a flavorful brew. Unlike paper filters, a Gold Tone filter lets more of your coffee beans oils to pass through, resulting in a delicious, aromatic cup. It can be easily removed and cleaned after use. You can also choose to use paper filters.
