The new Cuisinart DCC-3000 Coffee on Demand™ carafe-free coffeemaker puts a unique twist on coffee service. It holds the brewed coffee in an insulated coffee reservoir ready to serve. No carafe or pot! Just park your cup on the drip tray and press the lever, instantly fill your cup!
There are 2 reservoirs in the machine; the clear plastic 60oz fresh water reservoir has easy to read markings on the side facing the user to let you know how much fresh water is available for brewing. It is removable for filling and has a charcoal filter so you can use tap water for brewing. Then there is a double-walled insulated brewed coffee reservoir that holds your hot coffee ready to serve. Cuisinart incorporated a Coffee Gauge™ on the face of the machine so you always know how much brewed coffee is available.
The programmable controls are intuitive and easy to operate. There is a dial to select different modes, program, auto-on, clock, brew, and auto-off. And buttons for setting hour and minute, clean cycle, 1-4 cups small batch brewing, and power on/off. You can set the DCC-3000 to come on just as you are starting your day and you will have hot fresh coffee waiting for you!
The brewed coffee reservoir, fresh water reservoir, gold tone filter basket, and the drip tray are all removable for easy cleaning.

mjackson ♦ It will hold the coffee warm for about 4 hours. It is a very good machine as far as the new way it holds the brewed coffee. It will hold coffee warm about the same time amount as a thermal carafe.
