For a fully stocked coffee bar in the comfort of your kitchen, look no further than the Delonghi BCO120T Combination Coffee and Espresso machine. Brew espresso and up to 10 cups of drip coffee simultaneously, then foam and steam milk on the Swivel Jet Frother for a cappuccino, latte, or café au lait. You can even adjust the strength of your espresso using the Vario System Flavor Selector, or the strength of your drip coffee using the Accuflavor selector dial, so no matter what you’ll be able to brew the beverage that’s right for you.
The drip coffee control panel consists of a digital clock and five buttons. Starting from the top and going counter-clockwise, these buttons stand for drip coffee (with an indicator light), 1-5 cup button (with an indicator light), hour, minute, and auto programming (with an indicator light). To the left of the drip coffee controls is the espresso/cappuccino control panel. This consists of an espresso on/off button and indicator light, and above that, the Vario System Flavor Selector. On the left side of the machine is the steam knob.
Use the included small espresso carafe to measure out the proper volume of water for the amount of espresso you’re going to make, then add it to the espresso water reservoir. Add ground coffee to the portafilter, and insert the portafilter into the group head. Turn the Vario System knob to your desired strength, and press the espresso/cappuccino on/off button. Espresso will begin dispensing, and when it stops, press the on/off button again to turn the espresso function off.
Perfect for entertaining, the BCO120T allows you to make up to 10 cups of drip coffee. Add the proper amount of water to the drip coffee reservoir, and add ground coffee to the drip coffee filter holder. Turn the AccuFlavor knob to select a stronger or a milder brew, and then press the drip coffee on/off button. To turn the appliance and hot plate off, press the on/off button again. The BCO120T is automatically set to keep the non-stick hot plate warm for two hours after brewing is completed.
To save yourself some extra time in the morning, you can set your BCO120T the night before. Your brewing will start at the time you program, so coffee is ready for you when you get up. To set the BCO120T, press the auto button until 0:00 flashes on the display. Set the time you want the BCO120T to brew by pressing the hour and minute buttons, and then press the auto button again. You can also change how long the heating plate stays on after brewing by pressing the drip coffee on/off button until 0:00 flashes.
These dials control the intensity of your brew for espresso and drip coffee, respectively. The Vario System knob is located on the top of the machine, above the espresso control panel, and the Accuflavor Selector is located above the drip coffee filter holder.
With the drink interrupt system, you can pour yourself a cup of coffee before brewing is completed – a great feature if you’re in a rush. To active the 1-5 cup setting, push the 1-5 cup button. This setting ensures that coffee is heated properly, and the grounds are fully extracted, even when you’re brewing much less than a full cup of coffee.
The glass carafe rests on a non-stick hot plate. You can program how long the hot plate stays warm after brewing is completed. The carafe holds 10 cups of coffee, and should be hand-washed to keep coffee tasting fresh.
The Swivel Jet Frother allows you to foam and steam milk for cappuccinos, lattes, traditional macchiatos, and more. On the small carafe, add water up to the line that has a steam icon, and add it to the boiler/water reservoir. Press the espresso on/off button, and position the Vario System knob to cappuccino. Open the steam knob to dispense steam, and close the steam knob and press the espresso on/off button again to stop the flow of steam.
The Delonghi BCO120T does not have an automatic hot water dispenser, but you can always pull a “blank shot.” This means that you set the machine to brew as you normally would, but you don’t add any coffee to the portafilter. Hot water will be dispensed from the brew group.
The drip coffee water reservoir is removable for easy refilling. However, the boiler/water reservoir for espresso is not removable. Use the espresso carafe to fill the espresso boiler/water reservoir to prevent it from overflowing.
The drip coffee maker needs to be descaled when the drip coffee on light begins to flash. No special cleaning solvents are necessary – citric acid can be used. The espresso maker should be descaled once every 2 to 6 months, depending on the hardness of your water, and citric acid can also be used.
Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the exterior of the machine. The filter holder, drip tray, boiler outlet, carafe, and water tank should be cleaned regularly by hand – they are not dishwasher safe. The metal filter basket should be cleaned with warm water and a strong brush to keep it free of coffee grinds. Check to make sure that the holes in the espresso coffee filter are not obstructed, and remove the Flavor Savor from the drip coffee carafe and clean.
The Delonghi BCO120T Combination machine comes with an espresso filter, espresso portafilter, espresso two-cup portafilter adapter, measuring spoon, small carafe for espresso, large carafe for drip coffee, detailed instruction manual, and one-year warranty.

If you would like to know a little about the many types of espresso machines we sell, this would be a good video to get you started. This video covers the machines we sell and based on your lifestyle, what you like to drink, and ease of use. It will give you an overview of different espresso machines and help you determine which one best suits to your needs.
I would watch the video and focus on a particular kind of machine—prosumer, semi-automatic, and super-automatic to decide which kind is ideal for you. Then, you can go and look at individual models to get a better idea of exactly what you want. Of course, if you narrow it down to a few espresso machines and are still undecided, give us a call and we would be glad to help!

Dollar for dollar great machine. 2 years, everyday use, not a single problem. For about 100 bucks, I can't imagine a better deal on the planet.
Kristen C Thank you for your great review!
I have had this coffee/espresso machine for nearly two years and I love it. The quality of the latte and coffee is wonderful. I have never had an issue with the coffee-side part of the machine, and I make coffee nearly everyday (got to love being a college student). It's a little slow to make latte-style drinks, but it's usually worth the wait. The steam reservoir is a little difficult to clean, especially if water is left inside, but I find that if I run a full pot's worth of water through it (without any coffee) it cleans it out pretty well. I love the fact that the water reservoir for the coffee and the milk reservoir is removable and can be put in the dishwasher.

Don't Buy! I read reviews on this machine from other websites but I still bought it because I was desperate. I used it for less than 6 months and the coffee maker stopped working. Its still under warranty but "I" have to pay to ship it to a repair place. The repair guy said he gets this machine in his shop a lot to repair the coffee maker. Its not worth the hassle and expense to ship it for repairs!

Its a nice looking machine and works well for about 5 months.

Fix the coffee maker side BEFORE you sell it in the first place!
