Brewing

As with all Delonghi espresso machines, the EDG715B has a 15-bar pump to facilitate proper espresso extraction. It is also equipped with a thermoblock heating system; there is no need to pre-heat the machine prior to brewing. Since it has been designed for the Nescafe Dolce Gusto capsule system, this machine can prepare hot and cold drinks without making a mess. The brewing process is self contained and spent capsules are automatically discarded for your convenience. With the Creativa and Nescafe Dolce Gusto capsules, you’ll be able to prepare the following beverages on demand:

• Espresso
• Cappuccino
• Hot chocolate
• Iced cappuccino

Display Screen

The Creativa features a colorful LCD screen to let you personalize your drinks. User settings are memorized by the machine for your convenience. The display screen is located on the front of the machine, right above the capsule chamber.

Water Reservoir and Drip Tray

This single-serve machine features a 1.5-liter removable water reservoir. It also has an adjustable drip tray to let you accommodate cups of varying heights. The drip tray is removable and dishwasher safe for easy maintenance.

Additional Features

The EDG715B will automatically go on standby after 5 minutes of inactivity to minimize power usage. It is also equipped with an auto-stop safety device that will prevent the machine from dispensing hot water when a capsule has not been inserted into the brewing chamber.
