The Delonghi Dolce Gusto EDG455T is a single-serve system that can brew hot as well as cold beverages. It works with Nescafe Dolce Gusto capsules for hassle-free, mess-free brewing. The Dolce Gusto EDG455T features a distinctive design that uses a seven illuminated bars to indicate coffee strength. Once the desired drink strength has been selected, the bars offer users a quick reference point to ensure the proper beverage is being brewed. This compact single-serve machine is ideal for coffee lovers seeking a quick and convenient way to prepare a variety of drinks.
Brewing
The Dolce Gusto EDG455T brews with 15 bars of pressure to ensure proper espresso extraction. This model is also outfitted with a thermoblock heating system to eliminate the need to pre-heat the machine. Since it is designed for Nescafe Dolce Gusto capsules, the EDG455T can deliver a number of gourmet drinks. You’ll be able to prepare the following beverages with ease:
- House blend coffee
- Dark roast coffee
- Traditional cappuccino
- Latte macchiato & vanilla/caramel macchiato
- Hot cocoa
- Espresso
- Iced cappuccino
- Iced Nestea peach
Drink strength and volume can both be programmed for custom beverages. Best of all, since the brewing processed is self contained there is no mess to clean up.
Water Reservoir
This single-serve machine has a 0.64-liter removable water reservoir. It is accessible from the back of the machine for easy refilling.
Drip Tray
The drip tray is height adjustable to let you accommodate everything from a tiny espresso cup to a large coffee mug. Simply raise or lower it as necessary. The drip tray is also dishwasher safe for easy maintenance.
Automatic off Function
After five minutes of inactivity, the Delonghi Dolce Gusto EDG455T will automatically turn off to conserve power.
