Control Panel:
The blue backlit display gives your DC514T a modern, stylish design. At the center of the control panel is the digital clock screen. To the right of the screen are buttons to set the timer clock. To the left of the screen are buttons for on/auto/off and aroma, each with an indicator light. Below the screen are indicator lights labeled 15, 30, 45, and 60, corresponding to the number of minutes since the coffee has been brewed.

Performance:
Brewing is straightforward and simple – just add water and coffee to the machine and press the on/auto/off button. For added convenience, you can also program your Delonghi DC514T to brew automatically up to 24 hours in advance using the set timer button. So you can literally wake up and smell the coffee!

Carafe:
The glass carafe has water level indicator markings on the side, and holds 70 oz of coffee – enough for 14 cups. It has a no-drip design and an easy-pour handle. To keep your coffee tasting fresh, the carafe can be hand washed in warm, soapy water.

Hot Plate and Freshness Indicator:
Your carafe rests on an easy to clean non-stick warming plate, which keeps coffee hot after brewing is complete. To let you know how long your coffee has been brewed, the LED lights illuminate every 15 minutes for the first hour. After the first hour, the warm plate remains on for an additional hour.

Aroma Button:
The aroma button should be used when you’re brewing only a few cups of coffee. This button extracts full flavors from your coffee grounds to enhance your brew by releasing water into the coffee grounds in 30-second intervals, rather than all at once. Grounds become saturated a little at a time, allowing the flavors and aromas to develop.

Pause n’ Serve Function:
The Pause n’ Serve function allows you to interrupt brewing momentarily while you pour a cup of coffee. After pouring your cup, just replace the carafe and brewing will continue until completed.

Complete Water System:
The 70 oz water reservoir includes an advanced water filter, which optimizes the taste of your coffee by eliminating odors and flavors caused by chlorine in your water. So you always know how much water is in the tank, an internal water level indicator is easily viewable. An automatic decalcification indicator light lets you know when it’s time to run a descaling process – this removes lime scale buildup from your brewing components, so they can function at their best.

Permanent Gold-Tone Filter and Shower Head Design:
The durable and long-lasting permanent gold-tone filter is designed to keep even the finest grounds from reaching your cup. The Delonghi DC514T uses a shower head design to fully extract your coffee’s natural flavors and aromas.
