Got this product from xxxxx really good, cleans and gets you machine running like new, noticed the change of taste instantly. A must for every coffee machine.

I used Dugol Express on our Gaggia BaBy Twin and it tarnished the metal big time. All the splash spots on the outside body and tray metal as well as the porta filter were tarnished.I used it as directed on the bottle. I suppose it descaled very well but ruined the aesthetics of our machine.

I just received my Saeco Exprelia. The machine is utterly convenient and the coffee delicious with excellent crema. However, it seems that both espresso and capuccino are not warm enough. I brew in the AM right after turning the machine on. Would drawing a blank by selecting the bypass doser before drawing the first shot help?

mjackson ♦ Yes it would help if you drew a blank shot first as it warms up the system. It will make the espresso warmer. The milk you may want to warm up just a little before heating it in the machien as if it comes from the fridge it will be cold. It warms it up so much and if the milk is a little warmer to start you will have better results.
is there any diffeerence between the two durgol cleaners (regular versus swiss espresso)? the former is cheaper...

There is a difference the more expensive one does have a lubricant and is specifically designed to be used with a super automatic espresso machine. That really is the advantage as it also is bottled in a single serve portion as well. The larger bottle works as well and you need to portion it out, and it does work it just does not have the lubricant in the liquid.

You would get two treatments out of the bottle. I like it beacuse it is in a liquid form which makes it easy to work with. We do have many similar products as well and make sure to get the right one for your machine. If you have a super auto you may want to consider the single serve two pack that has a lubricant in it as well.
Can "Durgol Express Descaler" be used instead of "Durgol Swiss Espresso Descaler" to descale a semiautomatic espresso machine such as Livia 90 and if it can does it need to be diluted?

I have contacted Keurig to ask if it is safe to use Durgol Express to descale my Keurig Platinum B70. The answer I got was just the instructions on how to use vinegar. Now I am afraid to try the Durgol. I don't want to ruin my Keurig. Do you know if it is safe?

My Gaggia Brera's manual states only to use Gaggia Descaler. Well that sucker runs around $30 when all said and done or more. And there are not a lot of sellers of that product. Can you use this Durgol for the Gaggia Brera?

Hello, does this DeScaler work with a manual electric Gaggia espresso maker? I noted there are two smaller bottle packages available for espresso makers. Is this specifically only for a coffee maker in general or is this the same formula as the other smaller bottles?

Actually this product will work well. It can be use on your machine or a coffee maker. There also is a powder descalers available such as Cleancaf or dezcal. They all will work well if you follow the directions. I hope this helps and let us know if you need more informatin

You may be able to clean the portafilter with Tarn x . I am sorry as it does a great job cleaning and I really do not have a good answer as to what to do. I have not really heard of this before.
