Features

The Espressione Supremma Super Automatic Coffee/Beverage Center puts café-quality drinks at your fingertips, with its intuitive design and touch-screen controls. Go from bean to cup in seconds, as the Supremma does all the work for you! Equipped with eight programmable options, a commercial-style ceramic grinder, innovative steaming and frothing features, this Espressione is the natural choice for home or office use.

Espressione and Bianchi, the trusted Italian vending machine manufacturer, have partnered to develop the state-of-the art brew group used in the Supremma. They are so confident in its performance that they’ve backed it up by an unprecedented 10-year limited warranty (brew group only). The professional-grade brew group functions flawlessly to deliver crema-rich coffee. It is supported by a powerful 18 bar pump to ensure seamless performance.

The Supremma can be used to make one or two espressos, in a small or large size, giving you the freedom to truly customize your drinks. Love milk-based beverages? You’re in luck! This machine comes outfitted with the Maxi Cappuccino Frothing Device and a bonus Cappucinador (valued at $50) to make steaming and frothing hassle-free. In addition, you can use pre-ground coffee or grind your preferred beans.

From grinding to brewing and frothing, the Espressione Supremma does it all in style. With a sturdy polycarbonate/ABS plastic frame and a modern silhouette, this machine is as beautiful as it is practical.

Programmable Options

The Supremma lets you extract one or two shots of espresso and choose from a large or small beverage size to suit your needs. A true super automatic espresso machine, this Espressione model also has a programmable water-hardness option, a descaling feature, as well as timer and sound controls. Alerts will notify you when your coffee is ready, or if the machine requires your attention—for instance, if the water tank needs to be refilled, the side door has been left open, or the dregs container needs to be cleaned. Sound controls will let you silence these alerts, should you not wish to be disturbed.

Brewing

The Espressione Supremma takes advantage of the Coffee Essence System (CES), a gentle pre-infusion cycle that saturates grounds to preserve and extract the full flavors and aroma of your coffee. Along with the unit’s professional-grade brew group, CES delivers authentic espresso topped with rich, thick crema.

Steaming and Frothing

The Supremma gives you a few options to get your desired steamed or frothed milk. Pour milk into a frothing pitcher and take advantage of the Maxi Cappuccino steam wand to create the perfect froth. Want frothed or steamed milk dispensed directly into your cup? Use the bonus Cappucinador; it can be easily attached to the machine. Place the Cappucinador’s tube into the milk and the machine will suck in, froth, and dispense milk ready for a latte or cappuccino!

This super automatic machine can also dispense hot water for teas, soups, and hot chocolate.

Grinding

The Supremma Beverage Center comes equipped with an integrated commercial-style ceramic burr grinder. Grind fineness can be adjusted to meet your needs, using a dedicated control knob. Ceramic burrs will help minimize heat transfer and safeguard the integrity of your coffee, delivering uniform grinds every time. You can also skip the grinder in favor of pre-ground coffee.

Display and Controls

The front panel of the Supremma is anchored by a crisp, gorgeous LCD display. Touch-screen controls allow you to customize your beverage selections, activate volume and timer controls, as well as initiate the descaling process. You can also set the water hardness feature to accommodate the water in your area. A test strip is included with your machine to help you determine the pH of your water.

The Supremma’s LCD touch screen uses illuminated icons to make programming a simple and intuitive process. The flat touch-panel display is also easier to clean and maintain than its push-button counterparts.

Cleaning and Maintenance

This innovative Coffee Center goes through a self cleaning cycle every time it powers down to keep the unit in optimal brewing condition and prolong the lifespan of the machine. Espressione recommends that you descale after every 500 cups; the Supremma will alert you when a descaling cycle is required.

John Smith having trouble getting the milk to froth. was working initially.

Mark Jackson John, You probably have a clogged steaming device. Tech support for Espressione is provided by them, I would give them a call at 1-770-509-3006

Ali Ashouri What is the main difference between thsi and Gaggia Titanium?
9:45 AM 10-23-10
Mark Jackson Ali, Thanks for a good question. They both first of all are on sale for very good pricing. I think one of the main differences is the Titanium gives you more control over coffee strength with the brew adjustment knob. I really like the way the Titanium brews and looks. I am sure you would like either but I think you get more machine and possibilities with the Titanium.

Scott Weinstein This unit seems to have every feature of the higher end machines. What would be the pros/cons of this one vs. jura, delonghi, and saeco. It has the bypass, does it have a filter?, cup warmer, autofrother. I know the jura can produced 16 oz., how about this one? Why is this one significant less expensive with the same features? How is the noise level compared to others? thanks, Scott
12:32 PM 10-4-10
Mark Jackson Scott, It does have a lot of great features. It has the cup warmer, the bypass doser, auto froth connection available, it also has the same capacity as the Jura for drink sizes and a great warranty. The noise level is similar. All in all a great value. People have seemed to like the machine. It is very new on the market so it does not have the long track record of a Jura or Gaggia. The neat feature is the ceramic burrs. It does not have a filter but does let you know when to descale. I think it is a great value

Donald Finn I am caught between buying a refurbished Jura Capresso Impressa or the new Espresione Suprema currently on sale until the 12th of September. Can you honestly help me make a good decision. I am an amateur who loves my Americano in the morning and an afternoon espresso, latte or cappacino.

Eric Black Donald...there are a lot of other factors that I would need to know to help you make that decision. Please call me at 888-411-5282 and dial extension 5140 after the recording starts. I would be very happy to help you make your decision. Thank you, Eric Black

Katherine Redden Does this machine make regular coffee in addition to espresso? If so, can you choose/alter strength or is this pre-set?
3:41 PM 9-9-10
Eric Black Hello Katherine...The Espressione does not make drip coffee, if that is what you are asking. However, you can have your favorite coffee ground to an espresso grind, extract it as a double and add hot water to it out of the steam wand in order to make an Americano. Most people do not realize how much better an Americano can be. You have all of the flavor, aroma and body of drip coffee, but without the acidic taste. It is much smoother. I hope this helps to answer your question. Please let me know if I can help with anything else. Thank you, Eric Black

Pamela Oehlberg Hi, I just read the users manual as it appears that the largest cafe americano that can be made is 150 ml or 5 ounces. We use mugs in our home and use either the 10 ounce setting for a mug, or the 14 ounce setting for a travel mug. I'm a Starbucks Venti buyer - so bigger is better. I'm not sure I understand how the Cafe Americano is made, though one of the reviewers at Amazon said they made it daily. Is this the large coffee described in the manual? Or am I to understand that the large coffee with this machine is a double espresso shot since it is programmed for 60ml of coffee? Please help.
2:34 PM 8-6-10
Tech Kathy Pamela, A Cafe Americano is and espresso shot that is topped off with hot water to fill a full size mug. The definitions in the manuals are based on European standards. A large coffee there is a small coffee to us. A Venti at Starbucks would be like an XXXXL coffee for them. You can still make a large coffee by our standards with this machine. You may need to brew twice when using the pre-programmed volume feature depending on your strength preference.

Doug Steinberg Hi. Do you have a manual or specs for this machine so i can see the real dimensions, as well as where the doors/panels open etc?
8:22 PM 8-3-10
Tech Kathy Doug, We do not have a diagram here, but you can contact Espressione USA at www.espressioneusa.com and they can send you one out. They also currently have a small interactive video on their website as well. Check it out.

charles bagwell The ability to use preground coffee. Is that the same as a bypass doser in other machines. Can you leave the hopper full of normal beans and use decaf preground on occasion.
9:57 PM 7-26-10
Eric Black Hello Charles...Yes, the Espressione Supremma does have a bypass doser so that you can use preground coffee and leave your regular beans in the hopper. Please call me at 888-411-5282, Ext 5140 so that I can help you with your purchase. Thank you...Eric

Peggy Batton I wish there were some reviews on this machine, I have no idea how it compares to Gaggis or Saeco or Jura. I'm looking for a super automatic (really not into grinding beans) that makes good coffee and hot vanilla mocha espressos. I'd love it to be self-cleaning and have a water filter. I'd like it to be dual heater, good frothing ability and good reliability factor with parts that don't go bad right away. We live in Las Vegas, very bad water w/high calcium count. I'd like to spend 1k or under but MIGHT go higher for something much better than what I can get for 1k. It won't get heavy use. Maybe 1 cup of coffee and 2 mochas a day at the most. I need help, never have used an espresso machine before, always go to Starbucks but am ready to try it myself.
6:49 PM 4-23-10
Tech Milano Unfortunately, this is a newer machine so we do not have any reviews thus far. Please be the first! =) As far as hard water goes, as long as you descale the machine regularly, you can ensure a longer lifespan for any espresso machine.

If you would like to know a little about the many types of espresso machines we sell, this would be a good video to get you started. This video covers the machines we sell and based on your lifestyle, what you like to drink, and ease of use. It will give you an overview of different espresso machines and help you determine which one best suits to your needs.

I would watch the video and focus on a particular kind of machine—prosumer, semi-automatic, and super-automatic to decide which kind is ideal for you. Then, you can go and look at individual models to get a better idea of exactly what you want. Of course, if you narrow it down to a few espresso machines and are still undecided, give us a call and we would be glad to help!

I am very disappointed with this machine. I had a Capresso previously which functioned seamlessly for the most part of over ten years. This machine, while it looks pretty, does not function properly. It dumps grounds in the spillover tray not the tall bin, it does not fit a normal sized mug under without spilling coffee to get it out, it is a HUGE pain to clean, and the coffee is not hot. I would never buy it again. Spend the extra money and get a Capresso.

Let me start off by saying when I write this review is based upon being a previous Jura Capresso and Gaggia owner. With that said it's best to compare this machine with the previous ones I owned. First this machine is a "smart" looking device. I like the touch screen and ease of use. It looks very modern and was very easy to program/setup. One minor problem with the touch screen are the finger prints. This isn't an issue thats particular for this machine...it's a problem with any device with a touch screen (eg iPhone). This is where my praise has to end. When I brewed my first cup of coffee I noticed that the grinding is louder than the gaggia and Jura. Also the actually brewing is also louder. It really doesn't produce the "thick" crema like the aforementioned machines either. The adjustable nozzle really didn't help outting a mug underneath it. In the highest position I had to slightly tilt my mug to slide it in and out. Lastly, the coffee isn't hot; I'm talking luke warm as if the coffee has been sitting out for 5 minutes warm. So after I finished my first cup of coffee I decided to try another one...thinking the machine has heated up but the temperature was the same. The only way to get a hot cup of coffee is to heat the milk. If this is your first espresso maker then I would say it may be a good machine, but if you're coming from a Gaggia or Jura you will be disappointed. Spend the few extra bucks and get a machine that has a proven track record.

The best espresso I've had from an automatic machine. Nice crema and aroma easily achieved. This is a really good looking machine that is intuitive to use and I love the touch pad approach. It's also reassuring to know that you have easy access to the brew unit if needed. Compare to the previous machines I've owned this one has the best price to performance ratio.

AMAZING PRODUCT-HIGHLY RECOMMEND Just purchased the Espressione Supremma and love it. I have used other brands and this one is much better. Did have to go through set up procedures and adjust grinder to proper setting, but once I did that, the unit works like a dream. Tight dry pucks in the waste container. Holds about 20 before you have to dump out. The cobalt blue light looks awesome when the unit is on at nite in my kitchen. The touch screen is so simple to use. I was able to program the size of the 4 espresso drinks to my size cups. Also I just used the auto frother and it froths awesome. You need to remove the frother on the unit and screw this one on and then place the tube into the milk and it sucks it up and comes out hot and frothed. The computer on this unit is very smart. It will show you on the screen if the dump box is full or if a component is missing. The brewing group unit is extremely easy to remove for cleaning with one turn of a clip and one knob that you unscrew. We love the fact that the brewing group has a 10-year-warranty which gives us incredible confidence. I am loving my new purchase and plan to have it for a long, long time. Highly recommend this unit-you will not be disappointed.
