I've been using this combo for about 4 years now and the range of experiences that I've had with this machine indicate that I've found a machine from which I have no need to upgrade. Ever. Sure duel boilers and a rotary pump would be ideal but when it comes to a realistic perspective of having the best espresso possible this machine flat out delivers. Brew temps and pressure are perfect, near unlimited steam(I've pulled 20 cappa's in a row with no issue). What else can someone want!? The good: Great steam, correct temps at brew group are easy to obtain, has a water tap. Everything works perfectly. The Bad: this machine is an HX(heat exchange) that means your boiler is going to be ~230-250 deg F. This mean that before you pull a shot you'll need to flush the brew group with 4-6oz of water. Personally I just flush into an 8oz coffee cup for my americano, so personally this is a win for me and the worst part of the machine. In short if you don't mind flushing 4-6oz of water you'll love the machine. The Ugly: Don't expect the pressure-stat or the over pressure valve to be set correctly from the factory. my settings from the factory were a meager .75bar in the boiler and the brew pressure was just shy of 11 bars. The good part is that the adjustments are reasonably easy to make and once you make them they'll stay put and you'll have great espresso. just call WLL or check any of the forums for instructions. Overall: This was my first machine and I expect it to last for at least another decade, probably 2. It will be a long, long time before I even consider purchasing another machine. I sincerely believe that you'll consider this machine and grinder to be an amazing setup. Enjoy!
