Works great. I ended up with a Mazzer SJ later on, but the machine is great. Like the water setup.

I've been using this combo for about 4 years now and the range of experiences that I've had with this machine indicate that I've found a machine from which I have no need to upgrade. Ever. Sure duel boilers and a rotary pump would be ideal but when it comes to a realistic perspective of having the best espresso possible this machine flat out delivers. Brew temps and pressure are perfect, near unlimited steam(I've pulled 20 cappa's in a row with no issue). What else can someone want!? The good: Great steam, correct temps at brew group are easy to obtain, has a water tap. Everything works perfectly. The Bad: this machine is an HX(heat exchange) that means your boiler is going to be ~230-250 deg F. This mean that before you pull a shot you'll need to flush the brew group with 4-6oz of water. Personally I just flush into an 8oz coffee cup for my americano, so personally this is a win for me and the worst part of the machine. In short if you don't mind flushing 4-6oz of water you'll love the machine. The Ugly: Don't expect the pressure-stat or the over pressure valve to be set correctly from the factory. my settings from the factory were a meager .75bar in the boiler and the brew pressure was just shy of 11 bars. The good part is that the adjustments are reasonably easy to make and once you make them they'll stay put and you'll have great espresso. just call WLL or check any of the forums for instructions. Overall: This was my first machine and I expect it to last for at least another decade, probably 2. It will be a long, long time before I even consider purchasing another machine. I sincerely believe that you'll consider this machine and grinder to be an amazing setup. Enjoy!

I've had this particular combo for about three years now. I've had a few problems with the Pulser (replaced the pump once, nicked a hole in the intake line, and recently had to replace the power switch) but in all, this machine has performed exceptionally well. And I've never had a single problem with the grinder. It's an amazing machine. If I had one recommendation, it would be to include a water filter with the machine. I cannot emphasize enough how vitally important a water filter is for protecting your machine against scale buildup. I purchased the Rancilio inline filter sold by WLL, and it's performed perfectly. I'd highly recommend picking one up if you buy this machine. In all, I'm really happy with this machine, and it's a great value for the money.

We have been very impressed with the perfomance of our Pulser and Mini. The Mazzer is easy to dial in and get the correct grind. It is also very easy to operate and extremely quiet. The Pulser has been a pleasant surprise. We operate a public coffee house through our church twice a month and it suits our needs just fine. We are able to keep up with the demand of continually pulling shots and frothing. The only down side is not being able to check the water level without removing the lid and removing the container. However, once that is done, we were able to refill and before the container emptied and we never lost production. We have received numerous comments on the quality of the espresso and milk that we are able to produce with this equipment. Cleanup is fairly easy and the equipment looks great on the counter. I recommend this package to anyone looking to purchase a great espresso machine and grinder that doesn't want to break the bank in the process.

I must update from my last review. Whole Latte Love has eased all my concerns, and continues to be so impressed with my machines. With the Mazzer getting the grind perfect was simple adjustments and once I discovered all my research from when I was a barista I was able to beans and milk into a heavenly combination. I must throw a few things in for first time purchasers such as I was. First when you receive your boxes, remove all packing from the boxes! Items such as directions and attachments are usually hiding in there and just need to take the time to do that. The other is you must keep your machines clean! If you want consistency and no bitter drinks you must be diligent to back-flush, wipe out the head and make sure all grind is removed from grinder every time you are finished using them. Lastly, at least once a week make sure you are cleaning your port-a-filter and other attachments in the suggested cleaners. If you do these things I assure you that your machine will last most indefinitely and your drinks will be award winning. I hope you enjoy your machine as much as I am, superb.
