The Classic is my 4th espresso maker.
The Classic is my 4th espresso maker. Every one has gotten better. I now get shots consistently as good or better the I can buy. To make a noticable improvement will probably take a lot of expense. It is only a single boiler so latte's take a bit of time. I make 2 sets of shots the heat to foam/froth and make foam for 2. I wish that I had found this machine years before I did. The brewing hardware is well designed and gives consistent results. I use filtered water. Excellent product.

Hi, all the baskets of the Gaggia Classic are pressurised? It came with standard baskets?

It actually comes with both. The regular baskets will have holes across the bottom that looks like a screen. The pressurized basket has a small pin size opening and is to be used with the plastic pin included.

Gaggia Classic & MDF Brew-Ready Pack
I want to buy a semi-auto machine for a Christams present. I am confused about all the different Gaggia semi-auto machines. What the difference. The machine will be used for espresso, cappucinos-- maybe some lattes, and will be used primarily for 2 people. What's your recommendaiton. Thanks.. Stacey (Santa).
