Kristen C The best cleaning product for the Gaggia New Baby would be Durgol Swiss Espresso Descaler which you can find here: http://www.wholelattelove.com/Durgol/durgol_swiss_espresso.cfm
O.K., I purchased a Gaggia Baby Twin refurbished, about a month ago. Am getting the hang of pulling nice shots. My question is: there is some water leaking out underneath the main broiler's to underneath the mach. Not overflow from the drain pan. It doesn't do this every time. WHY is this machine leaking and what, if anything can be done to stop this leak onto my counter??
Thanks!
mjackson ♦ BWD = Here is an answer from on eof our techs. It sounds like the tube from the three way solenoid valve came loose. The way to tell is to dry the drip tray completely, brew two shots and then see if any water gets released into the drip tray. If there is no water in the drip tray then the top of the machine has to come off and the tube attached. If there is water in the drip tray it could be a small leak from around the reservoir or from a leak inside the machine. I would see what you can find and then give our technical team a call.
Mary Ann Colvin Our refurbished machines have a 6 month warranty.
