OverviewBack to Top
Gaggia’s Milk Island is clean, consistent, and simple to use, with its locking top and easy-pour spout. This Milk Island connects to your Gaggia Platinum machine (the Gaggia Platinum Vision, Gaggia Platinum Vogue, Gaggia Platinum Swing, or Gaggia Platinum Swing Up), becoming part of the steam system. Pour cold, fresh milk into the carafe, turn the steam knob, and the machine froths and steams milk for a cappuccino or latte. The Milk Island is easy to take apart and clean, and has a total capacity of 13.5 oz.
Q & ABack to Top
The light on my milk island remains red consistently, even when the carafe is placed completely down. I've had the machine for two years, never had a problem. I clean the carafe after every use.

There is a small raised area on the Milk Island base. In the center of this raised area is a small button. If you press the small button does the light turn green or turn off? You can also remove the Milk Island base and make sure that the brass contacts are clean.
