If you would like to know a little about the many types of espresso machines we sell, this would be a good video to get you started. This video covers the machines we sell and based on your lifestyle, what you like to drink, and ease of use. It will give you an overview of different espresso machines and help you determine which one best suits to your needs.
I would watch the video and focus on a particular kind of machine—prosumer, semi-automatic, and super-automatic to decide which kind is ideal for you. Then, you can go and look at individual models to get a better idea of exactly what you want. Of course, if you narrow it down to a few espresso machines and are still undecided, give us a call and we would be glad to help!

We LOVE good espresso! I also am thrifty financially! So......we had a Capresso Espresso machine for about 12 years. Loved it! That's why we looked into Capresso when it needed replacing. Got his machine, knowing we could return it if not happy. I had read unfavorable reviews about how it produced too much crema and not enough espresso. This was in fact the case :( So, we called Capresso and they recommended trying a coffee ground with a burr grinder. Well, waa-laa....that did it. Now we get a nice blend of both crema & espresso. The size and look of the machine are perfect for our kitchen. I am not thrilled about the little notch on the basket that needs to be lined-up with the handle, but am getting used to it. Enjoyin' espresso again :)

take the little notch off the coffee basket....not really sure of it's purpose. also the platform for cup that collects espresso vibrates a bit and moves away from the stream of the espresso. guess i could use a heavier cup, but like my small stainless steel one.
Capresso...older model ???
tried blade grinder now use burr grinder!

mjackson ♦ Sigi,
I think this may prove not all reviews are accurate and also what a difference understanding your machine can make. It does help to invest in a grinder that will work for your machine as well.

Mary Ann Colvin Hi Michael, The Jura EC100 does come with a pressurized basket which you can use ESE pods in.
Would this EC100 machine be a good choice for one who likes Long Blacks, Cafe Cremas, and Americanos?
