Essential Info:
The Jura-Capresso Coffee Team Thermal Carafe Coffee Maker combination drip coffeemaker and grinder is ideal for coffee lovers looking to brew fresh tasting coffee.
An upgraded digital brewing system allows you to brew 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 cups of fresh-ground coffee and program brewing up to 24 hours in advance. The Coffee Team Thermal Carafe has separate controls for the conical-burr grinder and allows you to select the desired strength of your coffee by simply pressing a button. Additionally, the Coffee Team Thermal Carafe features a 50 oz stainless steel, thermal carafe that will keep your coffee hot for hours.

Grinding and brewing with the Jura-Capresso Coffee Team Thermal Carafe Coffee Maker is remarkably simple with its push button design.
Three illuminated push buttons located on the front right of the machine control the power, pot-size setting and timed brewing features. A black and white digital display panel sits just below the illuminated buttons and allows you to automatically program the machine to brew up to 24 hours in advance. The Coffee Team Thermal Carafe also features a ‘stop and serve’ function that pauses brewing for several seconds allowing you to grab a freshly brewed cup of coffee. Used in conjunction with the digital panel, the programming buttons allows you to select your strength and pot-size. The Coffee Team Thermal Carafe also allows you to use pre-ground coffee if you desire. With its clear-cut controls, the Jura-Capresso Coffee Team Thermal Carafe Coffee Maker is well designed and will deliver professional quality results.

Equipped with a built-in conical burr grinder, the Jura-Capresso Coffee Team Thermal Carafe Coffee Maker provides coffee lovers the ultimate coffee making experience. The built-in conical burr-grinder on the Jura-Capresso Coffee Team Thermal Carafe Coffee Maker is extremely efficient not only because it produces a more consistent grind than most blade grinders, but also because it spins at a slower speed. By grinding at a slower speed, the Coffee Team Thermal Carafe eliminates the possibility of ever overheating the beans during grinding. Just add beans into the top-loading hopper, select one of four grind settings, swing the filter-basket under the grinder and then begin the brewing process. The 80-gram bean hopper stores and grinds only enough beans for a single use, so you will always have fresh tasting coffee. Additionally, Jura-Capresso has engineered the Coffee Team to brew at 200 ° and maintain the fresh brewed coffee in the stainless steel thermal carafe at 180° for several hours, preserving the fresh taste of your coffee.

The Jura-Capresso Coffee Team Thermal Carafe Coffee Maker is slightly larger than the original Coffee Team but maintains the high-quality construction Jura-Capresso is known for. Weighing only 10 pounds, the Coffee Team Thermal Carafe is constructed of heavy-duty plastic that is virtually shatter proof. It also features a stainless-steel thermal carafe. Combined with internal components like the solid steel conical burr grinder, the Coffee Team Thermal Carafe delivers professional results.

The Coffee Team Thermal Carafe has a double-walled insulated vacuum carafe, so there is no need for a hot plate on this machine. The versatile 50 oz stainless-steel carafe was designed to keep your fresh brewed coffee hot for hours because of its insulated design.

Hot Plate:
The thermal carafe eliminates any need for a heating plate.
The Coffee Team Thermal Carafe is designed to brew your coffee hot, and keep it that way inside of the stainless steel, vacuum thermal carafe.

The The large 50 oz water reservoir is readily accessible from the rear of the machine and easy to remove for refilling.
The Coffee Team Thermal Carafe also features an easy-to-read water indicator that gives you the ability to read the water level at a glance.

Water Filtration:
The Jura-Capresso Coffee Team Thermal Carafe does not have a water filtration system.
Like most coffee makers without a water filter, it’s best to use filtered water to minimize mineral deposits and limescale build-up. To keep your Coffee Team Thermal Carafe performing at its best, you should also decalcify your machine regularly.

Coffee Filter:
A permanent Gold Tone filter is included with the Jura-Capresso Coffee Team Thermal Carafe.

This Jura-Capresso machine includes comprehensive written instructions and a 12-minute demonstration DVD.

Question by Kathy B.

What's the main difference between this Jura-Capresso Coffee Maker and the other one for $229? Is it just the water filter?
A aswered:
Kathy, Aside from the difference in appearance, the machine you linked to can brew 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 cups at a time, while the CoffeeTeam TS does only the full 10 cup carafe. Aside from that, they are both very similar, well made machines.
