Measuring just 9”Wx14”Hx17.5”D, this super-automatic beverage center offers full grinding, tamping, brewing and steaming capabilities. The controls and interface are organized and easy to operate. Espresso, coffee, cappuccino, latte macchiato and other specialty beverages can be prepared and dispensed at the touch of a button. Innovative Fine Foam and the Aroma Boost features make the ENA 9 a functional and versatile machine, perfect for any home.
This unit is Jura-Capresso’s first consumer machine to come with a height-adjustable dual coffee spout, allowing it to accommodate 3-5” cups. The Jura-Capresso ENA 9 is also an iF (International Forum) Design Award winner. The top and front panels feature a glossy double coat of silver lacquer, while the sides have been finished in Piano Black. This machine also has eye-catching chrome-plated finishes. The Swiss-made Jura-Capresso ENA 9 One Touch is backed by a 2-year limited manufacturer’s warranty.
This one-touch machine has a performance-driven 15-bar pump and thermoblock heating system to deliver world-class drinks. There are six different one-touch drink options to choose from, including: cappuccino, latte macchiato, coffee, double espresso, café lungo, and Aroma Boost beverages.
The Aroma Boost option lets you create extra-strong espresso or café lungo at the touch of a button. When the Aroma Boost feature is activated, additional coffee is ground to brew the drink, ensuring a bold, aromatic beverage. Along with three coffee strength options, the ENA 9 lets you create custom drinks by adjusting the amount of water used to prepare your beverages. Less water will result in more concentrated brews, whereas increasing water volume will create milder drinks. A programmable drink-temperature feature is also available. Choose between normal and high (176-205°F) temperature settings to create the desired result.
The ENA 9 is a true one-touch machine, which means regardless of the beverage being prepared, be it a simple espresso or a cappuccino, you never have to move your cup. The coffee and milk is prepared and dispensed directly into the cup.
One end of the milk pipe can be connected directly to the dual-spout drink dispenser. Drop the other end right into a milk container; the machine will automatically siphon and froth the milk before dispensing it into your cup.
When the ENA 9 is switched off, it automatically runs a rinsing cycle to keep the machine clean and clear of debris. If a specialty milk-based beverage has been prepared, a cappuccino rinse cycle will also be activated. The milk system is removable for thorough cleanings.
The drink dispenser, located at the front of the machine, can be raised or lowered as needed. The coffee spout is designed to be able to accommodate 3-5” cups.
The ENA 9 is equipped with a professional-grade conical burr grinder that can be adjusted on a continuous scale for your convenience. An integrated 4.4-ounce hopper lets you to safely store fresh beans; while a bypass doser allows the ENA 9 to accommodate pre-ground coffee.
A large 37-ounce removable water tank makes for easy cleaning and refilling. An Aquadur test strip has been included with the ENA 9 to help you determine the water hardness levels in your home. The machine can then be adjusted and programmed to accommodate the water being used. A spout lets you dispense hot water for tea and Americano.
The ENA 9 is compatible with the Clearyl Blue water filter cartridge. Per Jura’s instruction, this machine does not need to be descaled if you are using the water filter as directed.
The ENA 9 features intuitive rotary-knob and button-based controls. A tri-colored text display helps you navigate machine programming options. It will also alert you if the ENA requires cleaning or maintenance.
In addition to going on standby after a period of inactivity, the ENA 9 can be programmed to automatically switch off. The machine can be can be set to automatically turn off after anywhere from 15 minutes to 9 hours of idle time. There are also two energy options to choose from. The normal energy mode keeps the ENA 9 ready for use, drink and hot-water features can be activated on demand, without having to wait for the machine to warm up. The energy-saving mode will stop heating the machine after a drink is prepared. This economy mode will help reduce energy use, but you’ll have to wait for the ENA 9 to heat up next time you’re ready to brew.

I need an espresso machine that has a water tank on the front or side. Does this machine have these features? If not, what make and model would you recommend?

DRuff Hi James. Thank you for your question. The water tank on this machine is located in the back. If your looking for a machine that has the water tank in the front or side take a look at the Gaggia Brera, any of the Gaggia Platinum machines, the Saeco Talea machines, or the new Delonghi Super Autos such as the ECAM XS. Hope this helps. Feel free to call us at 888-411-5282 opt 1 should you have any additional questions. Happy Brewing!
Which of the coffees you sell are suitable for use in the ENA 9?

mjackson ♦ Jeff,
They will all work. I think the ones that would work best are the coffees that are going to be light to medium roast.I think you may want to try some of our sampler packs to see what works best.

mjackson ♦ Holly ,
Yes the Ena 9 is worth it .It will make bigger better drinks and also a better tasting larger drink. The Micro at maximum setting will put in 10 Grams of coffee where the regular 9 will put in 16. It also has a better one touch milk system. It also has the ability to better customize each drink.
