Controls:

Plus, the automatic shut-off feature conserves energy by turning the machine off after 2 hours of inactivity. The elegant control panel shows the time in illuminated red icons, and adjustments are easy to make with the Clean Touch Control Pad. The buttons are sealed against spills and stains, so coffee build-up can easily be wiped away with a damp cloth. There is also a control button for 1-4 cup brew cycles, which is specially designed to prepare smaller batches of coffee with the same rich flavors as a full batch. In addition, the 14-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker includes KitchenAid’s “Time Since Brew” display, which lets you know how fresh that pot of coffee on the burner is. 30, 60, 90 and 120-minute segments light up to let you know how long ago the last pot was made.

Carafe:

Reservoir:

Coffee Filter:
A specially-designed, flat-bottom Gold Tone filter provides an even extraction when you brew. The Gold Tone filter is included when you purchase the 14-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker. If you prefer to use paper filters, this coffee maker is compatible with 10 and 12 cup, flat-bottom paper filters as well. Whether you’re using a paper filter or the gold tone filter, simply pop it into the removable, dishwasher safe brew basket in the top of the machine for convenient preparation.
