The Krups XP618050 Twin allows you to make elegant coffee drinks at home with ease while giving you barista-style control over extracting espresso and frothing milk. Separate hot-water and steam can be dispensed from the huge 3 liter reservoir providing rapid production of many types of drinks quickly.

 

Programmable functions for manual, single and double espresso automatically include a 3 second pre-infusion stage to make sweeter espressos with great body. Included are filter baskets for using ESE pods or making single or double shots with your own ground coffee.

The well designed and simple control system allows you to precisely program the brew temperature and the single and double shot volume for your particular preference.

 

A unique espresso pressure gauge gives you feedback on the water pressure at the brew group. This helps you to fine tune the coffee grind fineness to get a perfect extraction of espresso, allowing the brew-water to flow not too fast or too slow, but just right for sweet full bodied shots.

The brushed aluminum & stainless steel housing is durable, easy to clean and fits well in almost any decor scheme. It is an attractive appliance for the home or small office.

The 800W Thermoblock heaters are made by die-casting aluminum around stainless steel tubing so you get the best of both - stainless steel corrosion resistance in contact with the brew water and the low cost of manufacturing a finished part in die-cast aluminum.

Included is an actively heated group head that provides more consistent and stabile temperature control. Although achieved in a different way, it mimics the thermo-siphon benefits of E61brew groups in more expensive heat exchange and dual boiler machines.
