Leo Brugger How tall is the unit. We are looking for a Krups that will fit in a 12 inch high compartment on our counter

Mark Jackson Leo, It is very close as the height is : 12.81 in. So it may be a little tight and I hope this helps.

Steve Garger Is this a new Krups model? Years ago they were my favorite (edging out Braun back then) but in the last decade or so they really were terriblly made (Braun tanked too. Has anybody on your end used this one yet and how does it compare to their more recent offerings? I've had a hard time over the last five years buying a machine of this sort that makes good coffe and doesn't fall apart or have design flaws. Thanks.

Darren Ruffell Hello Steve. These machines are new. We started carrying them this past Fall. They do make a very good cup of coffee and we have not heard any complaints yet from customers that have purchased them. This model has not been time-tested, however Krups generally makes a quality product and certainly have been in the coffee business for quite some time. I bought both the KM 4055 after reading great reviews on it online, from Macy's and other sites. After 2 uses, the plastic molding around the top of the carafe started to come apart and peel off. I thought this was a faulty piece and returned it to Macy's. I then bought the KM 4065 model and after 3 uses, the plastic came off the carafe as well. In both cases, I found poor quality, from what used to be a great brand. I had a Krups Duo machine for 6 years and it was exceptional. Seems that Krups has lost its touch.
