Allows for more coffee in your filter basket. A 58mm tamper will not fit all the way to the bottom of this basket.
Will it fit and work in an 1986 Olympia Coffex? Would like several more of the original Olympia double filter baskets but of course can't find any, let alone anyone who knows which current filter baskets might fit.

Hi, does this basket come with a stiffer portafilter spring to keep it from being knocked out? I have read that it has been a problem for some folks using commercial rancilio portafilters. Thank you.

TechMilanoItalia We have not heard of people having a problem with the basket flying out. You can always pull the spring out and stretch it a little to provide a little more tension if necessary. But no, the basket does not come with a different spring.
