Features & Benefits: Coffee
Construction
This doserless, stepless coffee grinder grinds directly into whatever receptacle you place under the shoot. Store your beans in the tinted, sealable 1 lb bean hopper before grinding. The MC4 Manual stepless grinder has sleek metal housing and black plastic accents to match whichever espresso or coffee machine you choose to pair it with, and stands 16.9”H x 7.5”W x 12.2”D.
Grinding
As long as you have beans in the hopper, you can turn the on/off switch on the right side of the machine to start grinding, and switch it to off when you have your desired amount. Since this style of the MC4 is manual, there is no automatic on/off or timed grinding. You can always adjust the amount you want to grind, whether it’s for a single or double shot, ristretto or café crema.
Adjustable Fineness
The stepless grind settings are as simple as can be. When the machine is grinding, you can use both hands to turn the grinding ring smoothly to a coarser or finer setting. No lever is needed to change the completely stepless grind settings. Remember that the size of the grind isn’t the only thing that affects how your beans brew – the taste can be altered by how fresh they are and the air’s humidity.
Cleaning
Always remember to unplug your Macap MC4 before cleaning. You can clean the body of the machine with a damp cloth to keep it looking its best, as well as detach all removable parts and hand wash them in warm soapy water.

Michael Rosso ♦ William...Running the grinder with no beans is not the best thing for the burrs. Also even though you put an exact amount of beans in the machine, the burrs may not push all the grounds out. Thanks.
