Treat Yourself! French Vanilla Iced Latte

If you remember back to when I posted a recipe for the Salted Caramel Espresso milkshake that used Monin’s new syrup, or if you watched the video, you probably noticed that there was another syrup that didn’t get quite as much attention, the all new French Vanilla. Well, we’re remedying that right now! This weekend, prepare yourself for the French Vanilla Iced Latte! Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 2 Shots of Espresso
  • Cold Milk
  • Ice Cubes
  • 1 1/4oz of Monin French Vanilla Syrup
  • A 16oz Glass

This recipe might go down as one of the easiest I’ve ever blogged about. Begin by filling your glass with ice, when that’s done, add your espresso and your syrup. Top off the rest of the glass with your milk and stir (or shake if you dig that sort of thing) to mix everything thoroughly. Garnish that bad boy with whipped cream and enjoy!

Watch the recipe video.

Great Flavor

I bought the hazelnut syrup to use in hot brewed coffee. All i need is one pump for a cup of coffee. It beats those flavored creamers you buy at the grocery store. If you like the taste of hazelnut, you will love this.

Excellent Flavor

I don't drink very much syrup in most of my coffee. However I recently had the chance to try this syrup at a trade show. I have had Davinci and 1888 syrups in the past, this syrup has a much better flavor and was much sweeter. I also recently sampled a number of other coffee sweetners that I don't know the names of, but I found this one to be preferable to all the other brands I sampled. The pump dispenses 1/4 of an ounce at a time, I used less than a pump in a double shot espresso / latte and found it had lots of flavor. I will use this brand of syrup next time I purchase coffee syrups.

mjackson ♦ Agnes,

They are fat free and a great product. There is about 100 calories per serving. For complete nutritional information you can go here -http://www.moninstore.com/prod_Detail.html?prodID=115&flavor=Monin-Chocolate-Organic-Syrup. I hope this helps and thanks.

mjackson ♦ There is a little difference in taste. But based on my experience in running some coffee shops people were very happy with all the Monin syrups and the clean great taste they all have.

TechMilanoItalia Not that we carry, but you may want to search around the Web a little bit, there are a few different brands of unsweetened flavor syrups out there. Sorry we could not help.
