Features

The perfect marriage of form and function, the Nespresso CitiZ with Aeroccino Plus is not only artfully designed but also delivers truly remarkable beverages. The CitiZ takes advantage of Nespresso’s capsule technology to brew fresh, single or double espresso shots. Its simple push-button operations have made the CitiZ popular with critics and consumers alike.

Now, the CitiZ has been paired with the Aeroccino Plus milk frother to offer more choices for the home barista. Remarkably, the Aeroccino plus can froth both hot and cold milk! If you prefer an iced cappuccino or latte, you can froth your milk cold. If you like traditional, hot beverages, the Aeroccino plus will froth and heat your milk to deliver the perfect temperature and consistency. The machine comes with two attachments: one for steaming and one for frothing. With advanced single-serve capsule technology and a simple steaming/frothing solution, the CitiZ and Aeroccino Plus pack is truly a match made in espresso heaven!

kelly nelson Can one get a regular cup of coffee from the Nespresso machine? Also, having to buy the pods only from Nespresso seems somewhat inconvenient and also costly.

Mark Jackson Kelly, Thanks for the question. You can get an espresso or a longer espresso out of the machine. It is going to use the same amount of coffee just add more water. It will not make a large cup of coffee. If you brew a coffee it would probably. be best tasting at between 5- 8 ounces. Nespresso does make a quality product and yes they are the only people you can purchase eh capsules through. If you want more flexibility you may want to look at purchasing a super auto read more here. http://www.wholelattelove.com/espresso_machine.cfm?cid=1&scid=2

marion heller how does the cold latte work
12:05 PM 11-9-10
Mark Jackson Marion, Thanks for the question. If you press the button once quickly you will activate the heating of the milk. If you press and hold the button for two seconds it will override the heating and give you cold foamy milk. Pretty col.

Chad McCall Hello, please help me. We are trying to decide between the Illy X7 or X!, the Nespresso Citi, and the Lavazza pod machines. Can you help us decide? We will primarily be drinking espresso, sometimes americano. Price is less important than a reliable machine that makes the best possible coffee. We are not concerned about hot chocolate and other sweet drinks. maybe the occasional cappuccino (the nespresso has the frother available separately, do you recommend it?). Sorry for all of the questions. Footprint is a little bit of an issue but we would take a bigger mnachine if it was really worth it. The nespresso looks like it has the most variety and has great reviews. DO the Illy or the Lavazza make better shots? Is the temperature regulation better on any of the machines? Will primarily be used for my wife and I although sometimes for small dinner groups. We already have a Technivorm coffee maker so we understand the importance of a good machine and brewing temperature. We are not espresso purists by any stretch so we want to avoid the work of a manual machine. Thanks, Chad

Michael Rosso Chad, all of the machines that you have stated are great machines. They all put out a great shot of espresso and we haven’t had any persistent problems with these models. As far as temperature is concerned all the machines will brew at 190-200 degrees. With the X7 you can run hot water through the brew group to ensure that no heat loss will occur when the espresso hits the brew group. With any of these machines, we highly recommend that you warm your cup prior to use. What it really comes down to is what coffee that you prefer. Lavazza machines will use Lavazza coffee while the X7 and X1 have Illy capsules. The Nespresso uses Nespresso capsules. Nespresso probably has the largest selection with over 16 varieties of capsules however many of our customers find Lavazza and Illy coffee simply irresistible. If you have any more questions don’t hesitate to ask. Happy Brewing!

If you would like to know a little about the many types of espresso machines we sell, this would be a good video to get you started. This video covers the machines we sell and based on your lifestyle, what you like to drink, and ease of use. It will give you an overview of different espresso machines and help you determine which one best suits to your needs.

I would watch the video and focus on a particular kind of machine—prosumer, semi-automatic, and super-automatic to decide which kind is ideal for you. Then, you can go and look at individual models to get a better idea of exactly what you want. Of course, if you narrow it down to a few espresso machines and are still undecided, give us a call and we would be glad to help!
