The ultra sleek Nespresso CitiZ Single Serve Coffee and Espresso Maker takes its design cues from the Urban Jungle. Heavily influenced by 1930s and 40s architecture, the machine fuses retro styling with modern technology.
Adapted to suit the needs of urbanites worldwide, the CitiZ has a tiny silhouette—perfect for those looking to save valuable counter space. Yet, this slim machine can brew some phenomenal beverages. The CitiZ is made to work with Nespresso’s single serve capsules—carefully crafted to deliver flavorful drinks without the mess.
Making a beverage could not be easier with the Nespresso CitiZ; to start, simply switch the machine on, place a mug under the coffee dispenser, and insert a capsule. Users can choose to extract fresh espresso or indulge in a rich lungo by pressing one of two buttons, located on the top of the machine. The CitiZ will automatically adjust flow speed, depending on the coffee variety to maximize the flavor and aroma extraction. Once the brewing process is complete, the spent capsule is discarded into a built-in container for fast and easy cleanup.

If you would like to know a little about the many types of espresso machines we sell, this would be a good video to get you started. This video covers the machines we sell and based on your lifestyle, what you like to drink, and ease of use. It will give you an overview of different espresso machines and help you determine which one best suits to your needs.
I would watch the video and focus on a particular kind of machine—prosumer, semi-automatic, and super-automatic to decide which kind is ideal for you. Then, you can go and look at individual models to get a better idea of exactly what you want. Of course, if you narrow it down to a few espresso machines and are still undecided, give us a call and we would be glad to help!

I have a manual machine at home, a Rancillio Silva, and I was never a big fan of single serve automatic machine ( I am really a purist as far as espresso making goes...). I did bought a Nespresso Citiz for the office. It seem a more practical solution for work. I was very surprised, it makes a great coffee, as good as my Silva without the mess. It is well build and the coffee comes out hot. You can make your espresso short or long ( there are 2 buttons) and the sleep / energy saving feature is great. I am so satisfied, I am thinking of getting a second one for home as well. The froth accessories is highly recommended, works very well.

I received this machine as a gift and feel sorry for my generous boss who bought this for me. I think it's very important that people are aware that this product is made very cheaply with so many plastic pieces that are unreliable: the water tank cracked, the coffee tray that catches the excess coffee is horribly built and that cracked too. What bothers me the most is that this machine was apparently Nespresso's opportunity to "go green" but there's nothing green about this at all. It claims to have a power save button off but after an hour of brewing a cup of coffee my machine was still on?? I think it's best to say that going back to brewing a fresh, steamy, hot (oh yeah, the coffee is never hot, steamy and good) cup of joe is the way to go. Don't bother folks.
