Adapted to suit the needs of urbanites worldwide, the CitiZ has a tiny silhouette—perfect for those looking to save valuable counter space. Yet, this slim machine can brew some phenomenal beverages. The CitiZ is made to work with Nespresso’s single serve capsules—carefully crafted to deliver flavorful drinks without the mess.

Making a beverage could not be easier with the Nespresso CitiZ; to start, simply switch the machine on, place a mug under the coffee dispenser, and insert a capsule. Users can choose to extract fresh espresso or indulge in a rich lungo by pressing one of two buttons, located on the top of the machine. The CitiZ will automatically adjust flow speed, depending on the coffee variety to maximize the flavor and aroma extraction. Once the brewing process is complete, the spent capsule is discarded into a built-in container for fast and easy cleanup.

Peg Malloy I have this espresso maker but got the impression I could make latte's - that some of the cubes were strong enough for a double and some steamed milk. Is that true or not? Or do I need to use two cubes for a double? Thanks!

Mark Jackson Peg, They are really made for single shots. Of course everything is based on personal taste. I think if you use you want to make at least a 12 ounce drink and may be even a 16. I think there website does a great job describing each capsule. The tastes may be stronger but each capsule is the same amount of coffee.

Zack Smith Robin, the Nespresso Pixie is the newest addition to the Nespresso line. It is a very compact machine so it will not take up a lot of room on the counter. As you may have seen the Citiz machines come in a package that both the machine and the Aero 3 share a common base. The Pixie does not have a shared unit. Also the pixie does not come in red. If you would like to know a little about the many types of espresso machines we sell, this would be a good video to get you started. This video covers the machines we sell and based on your lifestyle, what you like to drink, and ease of use. It will give you an overview of different espresso machines and help you determine which one best suits to your needs.

I would watch the video and focus on a particular kind of machine—prosumer, semi-automatic, and super-automatic to decide which kind is ideal for you. Then, you can go and look at individual models to get a better idea of exactly what you want. I got this machine as a gift and it broke after the first use. Then the customer service department replaced it and this one broke too! Not only did it just stop brewing right but the water tank (which is cheap and plastic!) cracked as well. I had another machine by Nespresso and used it a few times. I think it's gimmicky, coffee tastes weird - not like that great, fresh cup you can't wait to have after a pot brews... And, I recently read the coffee was going "green" but this surprised me when the capsules can't be recycled and over 50% or more of their machines are made of plastic? The only green thing about this brand is the money they take from my pocket.
