The Coffeetool is a great tool for daily or periodic espresso machine brew group cleaning. The tilt of the handle, as well as the carefully placed hot water fins, protect your hand from the scalding hot water that can drip out of the brew group as you clean it. When the bristles wear down, you replace the cartridge, which is available in nylon or brass bristles – perfect for heavy duty scrubbing. A steam wand vent poker, located on the back of the bristled brush, has a rubber sleeve covering it to prevent it from poking your hand when not in use. The vent poker is a better alternative to paper clips when it comes to cleaning out the steam wand because it's less likely to break or bend. On the other end of the tool is a detergent scoop for backflushing, so you’ll always be using the correct amount of cleaner.
Replacement Brass Bristles are sold in packs of 2. Replacement Nylon Bristles are sold in packs of 3.

Nice to have
I use this thing on every shot to clean the screen and the gasket. It works super well at getting all those little pieces that don't seem to want to come off. The measuring spoon is nice because I don't have to use any of my kitchen measuring devices or get a scale out. I have yet to find need for the steam hole cleaner because of the single hole on my Expobar Office Lever but when I change the tips I will have to use it more.

Great little helper
This thing really helps with cleanup. I keep it in the drawer below my espresso maker so that it is easy to get to. I use it every time I pull shots.

Flush and clean your screen every time for better shots. This thing also works great to clean the left over coffee out of the portafilter, after the puck has been knocked out.
