Pasquini’s K2 grinder incorporates everything that popularized the Moka Doserless and wraps it in a sleek, chromed steel package. Infinite grind settings provide the ability to fine-tune your grind for every different bean, roast, and brewing method from French press to Turkish. No matter the setting, the 50mm flat plate burrs ensure a perfect, consistent grind. As a safety feature, the K2 will not grind unless a portafilter or container is resting below the dispensing chute and depressing an indicator switch. The low-speed direct drive motor prevents damaging heat from extracting the coffee flavor prior to brewing and is heavy duty enough for light commercial use. Standing only 15.25” tall, this grinder will also fit under most cabinets and be a perfect home companion for your espresso machine. The Pasquini K2 grinder is available only in chrome.

I bought a great espresso machine last year and spent all the saved money I had on it since I bought the best. Of course, 2 weeks after it arrived, my long time high quality burr grinder died of old age. I started at the bottom of the price list but couldn't find what I wanted. All I drink is espresso in various ways and don't even have a pot for brewing normal cups of coffee. Thus, machines that change the grind type at the push of a button have wasted features that I'm paying for. All I want grind a to do is grind espresso grounds. I also wanted a doserless grinder because my last was not, and it was almost impossible to judge the correct amount of coffee to grind for each shot. I found several cheaper machines, but cult classics that seem to have frequent problems don't make much sense to me. I finally found this one, and even though it's not cheap, I decided based on previous reviews and watching the video that this would be the one. I've been very pleased. It took a little time to find the perfect grind for me, but the machine is easy to adjust. It initially jammed a few times until I figured out to just rock the grinder back and forth after grinding, and the retained grounds fall out of the chute. Problem solved. I highly recommend this grinder to anyone. All it does is grind espresso coffee directly into the portafilter. If that's what you want, this machine will do it reliably and consistently.
I've had the K2 for a while now and the grind has been outstanding. Very consistent and fine enough for espresso with plenty of room to go finer. I use dark roasts which, due to their oily nature, tend to clog many burr grinders, but that has not been at all a problem with the K2. Static has also not been an issue. I also like the simplicity. This is a robust grinder, period. No computer chips, timers or fancy electronics to go bad. There are a couple of design improvements that Pasquini should seriously consider: First, adjusting the grind is not only awkward and cumbersome, but it requires three hands. The otherwise excellent video review on this site fails to mention that grind adjustments should be made while the machine is grinding. To do that you need one hand to hold down the release lever, another hand to firmly hold and rotate the bin to the new settling, and a third to press a container against the engage switch. This could be easily remedied by having the release lever also engage the grinder when the power switch is on, thus freeing up that third hand. Less important, but still useful, would be redesigning the portafilter holder so that it could be flipped up to accommodate a taller container. So to summarize, this is an outstanding grinder that is built like a tank and is the quietest one I have yet encountered. Highly recommended for espresso and anyone who needs one consistent grind, but not if you need to frequently change the grind, or want lots of automation.

I am very impressed with this grinder particulary with regard to its ease of use and functionality. I use it for both espresso and french press and it is very easy to switch between settings - unlike some other grinders. The design is sleek and looks good on a countertop.

Fantastic grinder, period. I was most concerned about the doserless design....would it be messy, would I have to measure the ground coffee before putting it into the portafilter. I usually make one or two cups a day, so the doser model didn't make sense. I'm glad I bought the K2....it's slim design with low height is a great match to my Expobar. It is unbelievably quiet. It grinds quickly with almost no mess, and NO static. Grind directly into the portafilter to just below the rim, tamp, and brew. Works like a charm. No regrets.
