Just got the Livietta T2, having had
Just got the Livietta T2, having had a Gaggia, a Saeco and an Aroma before. No comparison. This machine makes great espresso/cappuccino, froths milk perfectly and is remarkably quiet, especially as compared with the other machines. Yes, it's more expensive than the ones above, but do you want pretty good espresso or really good/great espresso?

Pasquini Livietta Pack
Since the Livietta is so new and this being our first espresso machine I purchased the unit with much hesitancy. We love the machine especially the double boiler. The ONLY negative..you spend that much on a machine and get two pages of xeroxed instructions. Not good when you have never used an espresso machine. However after much reading via online we were able to make a good cup the first time. Sending a Pasquini an email asking for a manual.

looked at machines in the store but saw to much plastic.not a big fan of the s.s. kitchen but the pasquini looks great and with the cups on top sits 16 3/8 high on the base..just the right size for my kitchen.the grinder setting with my current bean selection is 4 1/2.i love the warming pasquini cups on top-the crowning jewel.shipping was fast and arrived damage free.the instructions for the espresso maker were incomplete and the tamper wont fit in the base drawer.i love the pasquini reputation and quality.i have a la pavoni lever model ive used for 10 years.this is my first semi auto machine.and come on.its italian!.

DRuff Hello Richard. Thank you for your question. The base for the Livietta is 3”H x 15”W x 15.5”D. The Livietta alone is 12.5” H x 8.5” W x 14.3” D. Both the Gaggia Classic and Livietta are great machines for sure. Both machines have a stainless steel construction, 3 way solenoid valve and commercial style portafilter. Because of the dual thermoblock, the Livietta produces steam in 9 seconds on average compared to the Gaggia Classic at 28 seconds. The speed from brewing to steaming will be the most significant difference between these two machines. Aside from the differences in speed, both machines are very similar with respect to the quality of coffee they can produce as well as steam. I hope this helps.
