The unique Piazza brewing system allows you to get more flavor than ever from your coffee, tea, and even hot chocolate. These beautiful stovetop pots have an internal piston, which holds your coffee grounds or loose tea, and is forced upward as steam begins to form in the lower brewing chamber. Hot water flows through the piston as it rises, infusing the coffee or tea contained inside. The rising piston also compresses the coffee or tea so you get the best flavor possible from the small amount you need for brewing. In fact, the Piazza brewing system works so well that it was named the Best New Coffee Preparation Equipment at the 2005 SCAA Conference & Exhibition in Seattle.

Housed in the classic Kontessa design from Vev Vigano, the Piazza Stovetop Espresso Makers are beautiful and durable. The Piazza’s 18/10 stainless steel outer shell is elegantly complemented by sturdy, “always cool” brass handles that have been elegantly finished in twenty-four karat gold. These stunning machines are available in 4 sizes: Piazza Mini (2-cup), Piazza 50 (4-cup), Piazza 80 (6-cup), and Piazza 150 (12-cup). A detailed instruction manual is also included.

Please Note: The internal components of the machine have been designed, constructed, and installed by Piazza Espresso, but Vev Vigano has provided the housing for these units from their Kontessa line. Please be aware that the Piazza Stovetop Espresso Makers ship in a box that is labeled Vev Vigano Kontessa.
