Does the screen come with the screw that fastens it? The one in my machine is slightly stripped from cleaning the screen over a few years, and I would want to be sure to get the proper hardware (screw) with the new screen. Thanks, Patrice

I am looking to purchase the new shower screen for my Rancilio Silvia, but would also like a new screw for it as well. Does Wholelattelove carry this? Does it come with the new screen? If not, how can I obtain one?

The screw holding the shower screen seems to be stuck. I can't get it to budge and now the head (where I insert the scrwdriver) is getting stripped. . . . any suggestions for loosening, and do you carry replacement screws? thanks in advance.

TechMilanoItalia If the screw is stripped to the point where you cannot get the screwdriver to grip at all anymore, you may just have to destroy the shower screen (by folding it up around the screw) and use pliers to squeeze it and turn the screw out that way. Another method would be to use needlenose Vise Grips to grip on the head of the screw and try and turn it out that way. But yes, we can get you out another screw. Just give us a call.
Do you have a diagram of the proper sequence used to fit together the Rancilio Sylvia shower screen with the screw and the round brass piece it fits with?
