Rattleware Basic Knock Box, Maple Holder
I had the basic stainless steel, then I got the Rocket, which I decided was too narrow and gave away. I'm wondering how long the bar is on this one so I can compare it to the one I have.

I recently started pulling my own shots, so I obviously ran through a good amount of coffee dialing in my new Gaggia Classic. I would say it has received excessive home use this past month. It is solid and works well. The maple holder is a little more appealing to the eye in my opinion and does well to hide splashes from the portafilter.

A A David,
The width of the bar on the box is 5". If you ever need a replacement rubber cover for it, we carry them. I have included a link below:

A A It's easy to think that a knock box isn't needed, but once you have one, you will never go back to knocking your puck into the garbage again! I am glad you are happy with the product - Rattleware makes some great accessories.
How easy is it to remove the metal basket from the wood frame? Will the metal basket easily lift out of the wood frame, or are they fastened together? If it's removable, what does the metal basket look when removed from the wood frame?

A A Dana,
The metal knock box does come out of the frame easily. When it is removed from the frame, it will look like a standard metal knock box, which I have included a link to below.

mjackson ♦ I always suggest this box beacuse it works and I really like the effect the wood has as far as making it look great.
