Features and Benefits

Commercial E-61 Brew Group

The celebrated E-61 brew group is known for delivering exceptional temperature stability. Made of chrome-plated marine brass the group is designed to create the perfect environment for espresso extraction. Hot water is constantly circulated between the boiler and brew-group to ensure proper brewing temperature.

Nickel-Plated Copper Boiler

Made of pure copper, the boiler features a lead-free brass endplate that allows for 40% more heat retention and steam power, when compared to other boilers. Also, the boiler is nickel-plated to guard against oxidation and reduce scale buildup. The boiler has a 1.8-liter capacity.

Pre-Infusion

The Cellini Premium Plus has a dual pre-infusion feature, consisting of a mechanical pre-infusion system and a static pre-infusion chamber, resulting in flavorful, aromatic, and crema-rich extractions.

No-Burn Steam Wand

Rocket Espresso’s patented cool-touch technology ensures that the steam wand is safe to use. The heavy-duty wand has a two-hole tip; this model also features a separate, stainless-steel water dispenser.

Water Sensor & Reservoir

The Cellini Premium Plus comes equipped with a low-water-level sensor that will automatically shut off the machine to prevent a dry boiler. A warning system will also alert you when the water reservoir needs to be replenished. The water reservoir has a generous 98oz capacity.

Commercial Portafilter

The commercial-grade portafilter comes with single and double shot filters and baskets for your convenience.

Additional Features

  • Certified commercial safety valve
  • Removable cup warmer allows users to decrease the height of the machine, if necessary
  • 11.8”Hx13”Wx16.7”D
  • Power- 1200 watt

If you would like to know a little about the many types of espresso machines we sell, this would be a good video to get you started. This video covers the machines we sell and based on your lifestyle, what you like to drink, and ease of use. It will give you an overview of different espresso machines and help you determine which one best suits to your needs.

I would watch the video and focus on a particular kind of machine—prosumer, semi-automatic, and super-automatic to decide which kind is ideal for you. Then, you can go and look at individual models to get a better idea of exactly what you want. Of course, if you narrow it down to a few espresso machines and are still undecided, give us a call and we would be glad to help!

This is an excellent machine. We drink lattes, large ones, so the milk steaming is very important. This is a great performer in steaming. Since we don't drint straight shots, I can't assess their quality, but the shots we pull look great ant taste great in our lattes. We've had three lesser machines in the past, including a Rancillio Silvia most recently. The Rocket Cellini makes tem all seem like toys. You do need a quality burr grinder, our five year old Rancillio Rocky is doing quite fine for this job. This is the same machine as the Rocket Giotto, just in a different case with straight sides. Get the Cellini, and use the hundred bucks you save for great beans.

I received this nice unit on Monday but there was no stream. I had to call technical support a few times. Kathy was very good and she asked me to open the top cover and press RESET button. The issue was that when I dropped in the water bucket, it didn't line up very well with the sucket. So the water leaks and touches boiler and produced a lot of team outside. Eventually, the boiler circuit shuts itself down. This is a design issue that should be addressed later. Users should be able to drop the waster bucket easily. I actually was very careful. The good news is that once we figured it out, this machine is amazing. I had Delongghi before - no comparion. The expresso is amazingly great with my Rocky grinder at number 9 setting. It looks beatiful. I also love the fact I need to do a few things to make the coffee. I had 3 automatic machines before. I am giving up on those because they are all made by cheap parts an broke.

mjackson ♦ Thomas,

Really the only difference is in the fancier side panels on the Giotto premium plus. They are the same other then that. So the additional cost is for the better looking casing.

I would like to use this machine in a commercial enviornment---Small coffee shop with probably not more than 30 to 40 cups per day. Will this work? What kind of pump does it have?
Thanks

Michael Rosso ♦ Debbie...The Rocket Espresso Cellini Premium Plus is not NSF approved. I would suggest you look at the Rancilio Epoca ST as an option. Thanks

Hello! I am having a difficult time telling the difference between the Rocket Celilini Plus, and the Rocket Giotto Plus. The only major difference I spied was that the Cellini's boiler is chrome plated, while the Giotto is nickel plated. Are there other significant differences between the units, besides the appearance? Thank you !

TechMilanoItalia Joseph, the only difference between the two models (Cellini and Giotto) would be the flat vs. flared side panels. Everything else is the same. They both have nickel-plated copper boilers, perhaps you were seeing the part about the chrome-plated marine brass group?

TechMilanoItalia No problem, there's quite a bit on information that you are bombarded with when looking at these machines. The Rocket Espresso machines are certainly nice choices as they have excellent build quality and produce a great shot.
