Underneath its sleek stainless steel housing, the Saeco Italia has all the features that will turn your kitchen counter into the neighborhood coffee bar. At the touch of a button, the machine will automatically grind whole beans from the hopper, tamp the ground coffee, and brew delectable espressos. Able to suit your taste perfectly, the Italia has 18 grind settings and can be adjusted to use between 6 and 9 grams of coffee grounds per drink. You can even program the brewing buttons to automatically dispense a preset amount of espresso, so you’re sure to get exactly what you want, every time. If you’d like to use a different type of coffee than is already in the machine, simply add up to 9 grams of preground espresso to the Italia’s bypass doser – a great feature if you’re in the mood for something different or if you simply have a guest who wants a cup of decaf. In addition, the Italia was built with Saeco’s patented Rapid Steam feature, which allows you to go from brewing to frothing with no wait time. And with the Italia’s single-hole steam wand, you’ll easily be able to create creamy microfroth that will make every drink a masterpiece. Maintaining the Italia is just as simple as making your drink. Immediately after brewing, spent grounds are deposited into the internal dump box. Indicator lights on the control panel alert you when the dump box needs to be emptied, as well as when the machine is out of beans or water. The control panel also provides one-touch access to the descaling cycle. And at the heart of the Italia is a removable brew group for easy care and maintenance. The Saeco Italia is available in a stainless steel finish with black accents.
