The MC2002 grinder features rugged burr grinder rings and 30 adjustable grind settings. These same grinder rings are used in our commercial coffee grinders. This coffee grinder is fully capable of producing a high quality grind fine enough for espresso and coarse enough for a french press.The bean hopper and ground coffee container have a 250 gram capacity. It is housed in heavy plastic for durability and ease of cleaning. Simply the most versatile grinder around at this price! A 7g coffee scoop is included. Please note that most grinders are tested at the manufacturer and coffee grounds may be found in the grinder as a result. All machines sold are new unless otherwise clearly stated. Housing Construction

The housing is made of a very durable grade of plastic.

Multiple Grind Settings

To adjust between the 30 grind settings, just turn the bean hopper. The numbers for the grind setting are clearly visible on the bean hopper. It will grind fine enough for most espresso machines and coarse enough for drip and French press.

Motor

The MC2002 has a high wattage (166w) motor that turns at a high rate of speed. When you turn on this grinder you can hear and feel the power.

Commercial Quality Grinding Burrs

The burrs used on the Saeco MC2002 are made of the same steel and are the built just the like the burrs found on our higher priced grinders. However, at 44mm in diameter these burrs are smaller than the other grinders. For comparison, the Rancilio Rocky uses 50mm burrs, the Pasquini Moka uses 55mm burrs and the Mazzer Mini uses 58mm burrs.

Easy to Use Controls

The grinder is controlled through a standard on/off rocker arm switch. Just turn it on and off as you choose.

Removable Bean Hopper

The bean hopper is made of clear plastic and can hold up to 8.8 ounces of beans. It has a top to seal in freshness.

Ground Coffee Container

The 7.5 ounce ground coffee container on the MC2002 is removable and has a hinged door on it for easy access to the grounds with a coffee scoop.
