Features
The well-appointed Saeco Odea Giro Plus II Super Automatic Cappuccino Machine comes equipped with a series of advanced features to give you full grinding, brewing and steaming capabilities. Starting with an adjustable ceramic disc grinder, this super-automatic espresso machine takes care to minimize heat and static electricity buildup to leave you with perfectly ground, full-flavored coffee. As with all Odea models, the Giro Plus II features Saeco’s advanced Aroma and Opti-Dose Systems to deliver the desired beverage strength and optimal brewing results. Adjustable coffee volume and the option to brew single or double shots, make the Giro Plus II an exceedingly versatile machine.
Saeco’s Rapid Steam Technology makes for quick and hassle-free steaming and frothing. This model comes with a Cappuccinatore, a unique frothing device that automatically froths milk and dispenses the finished product directly into your cup. If you want maximum user control, you can also opt to manually steam and froth using the Pannarello steam wand. The Odea Giro Plus II measures 14.5"H x 11.5"W x 15"D and tips the scale at only 19 pounds. It is covered by an extended warranty for your peace of mind.
Cappuccinatore
The Saeco Cappuccinatore, usually sold separately for up to $50, is included free with the Saeco Odea Giro Plus II Super Automatic Espresso Machine. This device can be attached to the steam wand to allow for automated frothing capabilities. The Cappuccinatore draws milk directly from the container and dispenses perfectly frothed milk directly into your cup for quick, easy and delicious cappuccinos.
Pannarello Steam Wand
Along with the Cappuccinatore, this model also comes with the famous Pannarello steam wand to allow for manual steaming and frothing. The Pannarello attachment distributes steam in three directions to deliver rich steamed and frothed milk.
Boiler and Rapid Steam System
The Odea Giro Plus II has a powerful stainless steel boiler for fast warm ups and precise temperature control. The system is designed to ensure that water is at the right temperature and ready to be dispensed as well as used for brewing or steaming. This model also has a 15-bar pump.
Grinder
The Saeco Odea Giro Plus II is outfitted with a professional style ceramic disc grinder for consistent results. This grinder has been designed to minimize noise output, so you’ll be able to grind without disturbing the peace. Grind adjustment is quick and simple; the Odea Giro Plus II comes with a grinder adjustment key to let you turn and fine tune a dedicated pin inside the bean hopper. You’ll be able to choose from fine, medium and coarse grinds to suit your preferences. The Giro Plus II has a built-in safety mechanism that stops the grinder, should you run out of beans, to prevent damage to the unit.
Bean Hopper
The integrated bean hopper has a generous 6.35-ounce capacity it has a transparent lid to allow you to safely store your coffee beans.
Saeco Opti-Dose System
This super-automatic machine features the Opti-Dose System, allowing you to regulate beverage strength by controlling the amount of coffee used per serving. Saeco’s Optidose feature can be adjusted to dispense anywhere from 7-10.5 grams of ground coffee per beverage.
Saeco Aroma System
The Saeco Aroma System offers on, off and long pre-infusion options to customize the amount of flavor extracted per beverage. The longer the pre-brewing cycle the more aromatic the drink.
Water Features
The Odea Giro Plus II has a large 50-ounce removable water tank. The steam wand doubles as a hot water dispenser for your convenience.
Cleaning and Maintenance
The Odea Giro Plus II features a removable brew group to make cleaning and maintenance fast and easy. Saeco recommends removing the brew group and rinsing it with tap water at least once a week to keep your machine in tip-top shape. This model also has dedicated cleaning alerts that will notify you when the machine needs to be descaled.
Touch Lift Technology – Cup Stand
The cup stand is adjustable, so you’ll have no problems accommodating cups and mugs of different heights. Raise and lower the cup stand as necessary.
Mobility
This super-automatic espresso machine has a sliding wheel base that allows for easy rotation and maximum mobility. There’s no need to pick up the machine; simply slide it across the counter if you need to move your coffee center or clean kitchen surfaces.
