A powerful super automatic espresso machine in a compact frame, the Saeco Syntia Focus has been created to maximize user convenience. This Saeco model is anchored by a ceramic disc grinder and airtight, anti-UV bean hopper. But, if you prefer, an integrated bypass doser will let you brew using pre-ground coffee. Grinder, Hopper and Bypass Doser

The integrated ceramic disc grinder has 5 settings that will allow you to fine tune your grind. Saeco’s Optidose feature is also available to let you adjust the grind volume for each shot, choose from 6.5 to 10.5 grams of coffee to customize your beverage strength. An automatic shut-off feature has been built into the grinder to ensure safe operation.

For your benefit, the Syntia Focus has an 8oz hopper with an airtight lid and anti-UV coating to preserve your beans. Additionally, this model has a bypass doser for pre-ground coffee, which will come in handy if you’re an occasional decaf drinker. Simply use the bypass doser for decaf coffee and the grinder for regular beans (or vice versa) to keep your coffee varieties separate and ensure pure beverages.

Brewing Benefits

The Syntia Focus lets you program the amount of coffee grounds delivered for custom drinks. Use the "Aroma" control to fine tune the amount of coffee delivered to the brew group. The automatic pre-infusion cycle is designed to saturate coffee grounds before the brewing process begins to extract the flavor and aroma of your coffee and the Saeco system will constantly "learn" what is the best cycle automatically.

With the Syntia Focus, single and double-shot espressos are just a push one touch away. Both drink buttons can be programmed to brew the desired coffee volume; the machine will remember your preferences for future use.

This Saeco model has a removable brew group, which is conveniently accessible from the front for routine maintenance. The Easy Clean System lets you detach the group and run it under water for chemical-free cleaning.

Steaming and Frothing

A control knob, located on the front panel of machine lets you alternate between steaming and frothing and dispensing hot water. The Syntia Focus is outfitted with a Pannarello steam wand to allow you to create steamed or frothed milk as well as rich micro-foam for specialty beverages. Since this machine features Rapid Steam Technology, you’ll be able to make the switch between brewing and steaming without any down time.

Water Reservoir and Filter

The large 40oz water reservoir has an integrated Intenza water filter to remove various impurities and minerals from your tap water. This will help your beverages taste nice and fresh while simultaneously protecting the machine from scale buildup. The water tank is removable for quick and easy refilling and maintenance.

Adjustable Dispenser
