Hate waking up in the morning, stumbling over to the espresso machine only to find your drink settings have been tampered with? Don’t let it happen again, with the Saeco Xelsis super automatic espresso machine. With its Multi-Function and Multi-User settings, the Xelsis can be programmed to cater to the specific drink preferences of up to six different users. Grinder, Bean Hopper, and Bypass Doser

The integrated heavy-duty ceramic disc grinder allows for precision grinding. The ceramic discs, or burrs, have the advantage of being more durable than their stainless steel counterparts; you’ll also be able to achieve a finer grind. This remarkably quiet grinder has an automatic shut-off feature and the grind fineness can be easily adjusted by the user. In addition, the Xelsis has a bean hopper, equipped with an airtight-sealed, anti-UV coated lid, to preserve your beans. A bypass doser gives you the option of skipping grinder in favor of pre-ground coffee.

Saeco Brewing System

A dial, located on the front of the machine, allows you to control the Saeco Brewing System. With this unique system, you can select the strength and consistency of your coffee to achieve the desired beverage. The Xelsis is backed by a powerful 1500-watt heating element or robust brewing operations. In addition, this model has double boilers, one for steaming and another for hot water dispensing.

Saeco Aroma System

The Xelsis features the Saeco Aroma System, a programmable pre-infusion cycle that infuses hot water into the coffee to extract the full flavor and aroma of your grounds. You can adjust the Aroma System by turning it on, off, or prolonging the cycle.

Multi-Function & Multi-User Feature

Customize drink volume, strength, or temperature, and other preferences for up to six users with the Multi-Function and Multi-User Feature. The Xelsis will remember every user profile and automatically activate the corresponding settings.

The Saeco Xelsis has an innovative milk management system that features a detachable carafe. The milk container can be removed and stored in the refrigerator for your convenience. Once the milk container is attached to the machine, the Xelsis will steam or froth milk, according the beverage selected, and dispense the milk directly into your cup. An automated rinse cycle helps to keep the machine clean and free of build-up. You also have the option of manually steaming your milk using the steam wand/hot water dispenser.

Ray Brown How hot will the Saeco X heat the milk? any desired temperature or does it have a limit?
4:26 PM 6-20-11
Mark Jackson Ray, It does not have a temperature control so that you can set it for a desired temperature. It does a pretty good job, but it will certainly not be to hot. Our tests have shown it will get the milk to right around 130 degrees.

Robin Fair Do you recommend the Saeco Xelsis as one of the best Super Automatic machines? I was looking at the DeLongi and Jura, but now I see this one.... it looks awesome! Is there plastic on it or is it metal? Can you froth your own milk or use the auto frother? If I order it, does it come with any free items? Looking forward to your reply.....

Tech Milano Yes, we would definitely recommend this machine as a top-of-the-line superautomatic. It does have a stainless steel outer housing. You can either use the frothing wand on the front of the machine or the auto-frother system. Give our Sales Department a call at: 888.411.5282 to check if there are any promotions at this time for that model.

If you would like to know a little about the many types of espresso machines we sell, this would be a good video to get you started. This video covers the machines we sell and based on your lifestyle, what you like to drink, and ease of use. It will give you an overview of different espresso machines and help you determine which one best suits to your needs.

I would watch the video and focus on a particular kind of machine—prosumer, semi-automatic, and super-automatic to decide which kind is ideal for you. Then, you can go and look at individual models to get a better idea of exactly what you want. Of course, if you narrow it down to a few espresso machines and are still undecided, give us a call and we would be glad to help!

This is our third Saeco machine. The first two were problematic. This is the best of the three and Saeco has made lots of improvements from our older model Primea Touch Plus. The biggest improvement is the milk container is external as compared to our previous machine. The internal milk container was the route to many of the problems we had with the older Primea Touch Plus. We've had this for about 6 months and nothing has gone wrong yet.
