If you’re looking to enjoy Saeco’s cutting-edge super automatic technology at a lower price, the Saeco Talea Giro is the perfect match. With sleek silver and graphite housing like its cousins in the Primea line, the Talea Giro is a wonderful addition to your attractive and advanced kitchen appliances. In addition to its modern look, the Talea Giro features a wide range of programming features to make brewing simple and fast. The Giro gives you complete control over your espresso, letting you customize your grind setting, liquid volume, pre-infusion, and coffee strength with the turn of a dial or a press of a button. Plus, the Talea Giro features a Rapid Steam system, meaning you never have to wait between brewing and steaming.
When it comes to making cappuccinos and lattes, the Talea Giro has a stainless steel steam wand that will let you steam and froth with ease. It also comes with a Pannarello attachment that will perfectly distribute steam in your pitcher for ideal froth. The Talea Giro is also compatible with the Saeco Milk Island, an automatic frothing device that connects to the machine.
Features & Benefits: Coffee
Automatic Coffee Center
The Saeco Talea Giro has everything you need to make almost any drink you can find at your local coffee house, and the machine’s straightforward controls make creating the drink of your dreams a simple process. Whether you chose to get the automatic Milk Island or stick with the manual steam wand, you’ll have the capability to make cappuccinos, lattes, straight espresso shots, macchiatos, and more.
Easy-to-Use Controls
The controls on the Saeco Talea Giro make programming, brewing, and cleaning easy. The brew button is the main button at the center of the control panel, and it has an icon of a coffee cup. Below this, with 3 coffee beans pictured, is the aroma (coffee dosing) button, and the silver knob around these center buttons controls liquid volume. To the right of the knob is the hot water button, and to the left of the knob are the alert lights. These alert lights keep you updated when the machine is warming up, your grounds drawer needs to be emptied, hopper or water reservoir refilled, or if descaling needs to be done.
Simple Brewing Controls
The control panel on the front of the machine makes programming all aspects of your espresso brewing a breeze. Start by setting the size of your coffee using the coffee volume adjustment knob by turning it all the way to the left for a single shot, all the way to the right for a long coffee, and anywhere in-between. Next, choose the size of the coffee dose using the aroma button that features 3 coffee bean icons. Press once for a mild aroma, twice for medium aroma, and 3 times for strong—the machine will automatically adjust the amount of coffee dosed to match your settings. Then, press the brew button once for 1 coffee, or twice for 2 coffees.
Saeco Brewing System
Everyone has their own preferences when it comes to espresso, so accommodating your tastes and the tastes of your guests can be a challenge with some machines. However, Saeco had entertaining in mind when they designed the Talea Giro. To change the strength of your coffee at any time during the brewing process, the Talea Giro features the Saeco Brewing System. Controlled by a dial right above the coffee dispensing spout, the SBS can be set anywhere from mild to strong.
Stainless Steel Boiler with Rapid Steam
To keep up with busy dinner parties, hectic mornings, or just when you need a cappuccino ASAP, the Saeco Talea Giro has a fast-heating stainless steel boiler and a Rapid Steam system. This lets you go right from brewing to steaming with no waiting in-between, so delicious milk drinks are only a few moments away.
Adjustable Height Drip Tray
To accommodate cups of all sizes—from small espresso shot glasses to tall latte mugs—the Saeco Talea Giro has a manual adjustable drip tray that moves with ease. The drip tray is also removable, making clean-up a snap.
Low-Noise Ceramic Burr Grinder
For fine, consistent grinding without the racket, the Saeco Talea Giro has a low-noise ceramic burr grinder. Durable, flat ceramic burrs create an even grind for a great espresso extraction. Plus, Saeco has put a safety feature in place that will automatically stop the grinder when you run out of beans, ensuring no damage will be done to the burrs. You can also choose your fineness setting to fine, medium, or coarse by turning a knob in the bean hopper.

Features & Benefits: Frothing and Hot Water
Steam Wand with Pannarello Attachment
For total control over steaming and frothing your milk, the Saeco Talea Giro has a stainless steel steam wand with a Pannarello attachment. This attachment dispenses steam in 3 directions, giving you the ideal, creamy frothed milk for cappuccinos and steamed milk for lattes. Steam output is controlled by a knob on the top of the machine that operates with a simple turn.
The Saeco Talea Giro is also compatible with the Saeco Milk Island. The Milk Island can be purchased separately to automatically froth milk for cappuccinos and lattes.
Hot Water
The steam wand on the Saeco Talea Giro also doubles as a hot water dispenser. To dispense water for americanos, hot cocoa, or tea, simply press the hot water button on the right side of the control panel, wait for the temperature light to turn on, and then turn the steam knob to the water icon. Turn the knob back once the desired amount of hot water has been dispensed.

Features & Benefits: Care, Maintenance & Other
Aqua Prima Water Filter
Even if you’re using the best espresso beans in the world, the taste of your espresso can only be as good as your water. The Saeco Talea Giro comes with an Aqua Prima water filter to ensure only the best water goes into your espresso shots, removing particles and unpleasant chemicals from your water. This filter also helps to prevent scale build-up in your machine and should be replaced every 3 months or so, depending on the volume of use.
Removable Water Reservoir
To make refilling and cleaning a simple process, the Talea Giro comes with a removable 57 oz water reservoir. This reservoir slides seamlessly into the side of the machine and its large size gives you plenty of time between refills.
Simple Cleaning
It’s easy to keep the Saeco Talea Giro in tip-top shape. After you turn it on and it reaches brewing temperature, it will automatically run a rinse cycle to clean away any coffee residue and to warm up the brewing components. The steam wand should be cleaned with a damp cloth after every use, and the Pannarello attachment should be unscrewed and cleaned at the end of the day. Descaling should be completed once every 2-3 months, and the descaling light on the control panel will illuminate to remind you.
Removable Dump Box and Brew Group
To make cleaning even easier, the dump box and brew group on the Saeco Talea Giro are removable. Both can be accessed by opening a panel on the right side of the machine, and no screwdrivers or other tools are needed. Periodically remove the brew group to be rinsed under the sink, and remove and clean the dump box whenever the dump box light on the control panel is illuminated.

The Saeco Talea Giro comes with a convenient wheel base, allowing you to move it across your countertop without having to lift it.
