Maggie aswered:It will-however, Gaggia does not recommend that any of their home units (other than the Gaggia TS) be back-flushed. Descaling is the only recommended maintenance for those machines.

mjackson aswered:It is not really recommended for all Gaggias only those with a three way solenoid. If you don't have one don't do this. If you have any of the Baby series or the classic you can. If you do not do the back flushing correctly you can basically ruin your machine by damaging the water connections ... more
