Love the aroma of coffee? What if you could create a soap at home that smells great and has benefits to your complexion? Did you know that the caffeine in coffee works as a vasodilator to firm and tighten your skin? Coffee is also naturally full of antioxidants that will help reduce wrinkles and protect against sun damage. Now you can enjoy all the benefits with this simple recipe to make Coffee soap.

Creamy Coffee Soap Recipe

  • 1 bar white glycerin soap (4 ounces)
  • 1 teaspoon instant espresso OR 2 teaspoons coffee beans
  • 1 teaspoon powdered milk
  • A few drops of fragrance oil. Try vanilla or coffee.

Cut the bar of white glycerin soap into chunks and place in a large glass measuring cup or glass microwave safe container. Melt for a few seconds at a time until completely melted. Take out of the microwave and add the powdered milk. Stir. Add the coffee granules but only stir slightly. Add the fragrance oil if you desire. Then just pour the soap into a mold and let it set for several hours until it hardens.
