For the busiest cafés, office parks and other high volume coffee environments, there is no substitute for the Mazzer Royal. Its powerful 900-watt motor and steel 83mm grinding burrs are built to deliver fast, consistent grounds at virtually any level of fineness, empowering your baristas with as much ground coffee as they can keep up with. Adjusting the grind setting won’t slow you down either, with an adjustment disc that can easily be changed for espresso to drip coffee to French press without taking anything apart. Plus, with the Mazzer Royal, you can set your dosing level to match the needs of your business, so users can fill portafilters quickly without having to measure each time.
Grinding coffee with the Mazzer Royal is very simple. To begin, just turn the knob on the right side of the machine clockwise and the grinder will automatically dispense ground coffee into the doser and stop grinding when it’s full. The Mazzer Royal has automatic dosing, so it will automatically refill the doser after 12 coffee portions have been dispensed. Since the doser can hold up to 360 grams, the Royal will always have plenty of fresh ground coffee ready. To dispense coffee from the doser, simply hold your portafilter underneath the dispensing spout, and pull the lever on the right side of the doser once. For 2 portions of ground coffee, pull twice.
Though grinding with the Royal is relatively simple, it will take some training to find the right grind setting and dosing amount to suit your needs. To change the fineness setting, turn the grinding adjustment disc handle clockwise for a coarser grind and counterclockwise for a finer grind. Adjusting the amount of coffee dispensed by the doser is just as easy. Remove the top of the ground coffee container and turn the knob clockwise to decrease the dose and counterclockwise to increase the dose.
