What's the best grinder for the Brewtus II?
To Whom it may concern,
This sounds like a great machine,but you fail to mention the size of the boilers. How many ounces do each boiler hold? And how much does the temperature vary from the set temp when brewing multiple shots? What type of grinder is needed,Is a ROCKY going to do well?

Each boiler is made of copper and can hold up to 1.7 liters in capacity. The temperature variance will be very minimal unless you were making a large amount of shots in a row for example 25 drinks back to back. Then, you might see a small variance of roughly 4 degrees.
The Rocky grinder will perform great with the Brewtus, with its 50mm burr plate and 55 grind settings. But, with a machine like the Brewtus, you may want to consider grinders that offer even more freedom and efficiency. For $134 extra you can get the Mazzer Mini grinder which is top of the line and can offer better grind consistency. It has 58mm burr plates and virtually infinite grind setting, which helps in calibrating your grinder to your espresso machines needs, resulting in a better, more even shot. The Mazzer Mini P Coffee Grinder offers a redesigned, more compact alternative for small business settings where space is limited. The Mini P is has a polished aluminum housing, but features the same heavy-duty components to handle a light commercial load. The Mini P also has a built-in adjustable doser to give your employees the same amount of coffee each time for a more consistent batch of coffee or shot of espresso.
Even users who have little or no experience with grinders can operate the Mazzer Mini P Coffee Grinder. A knob on the right side of the machine can set the grind time up to 60 seconds and users can dispense preset dose quantities simply by pulling the dispensing handle. It is also easy to adjust the fineness of the grind by rotating the adjustment plate, so you can modify the Mini P for coffee or espresso in a matter of seconds.
