Hi there, I got my order today and to my dismay found that I had ordered the Intenza Water Filter for my Gaggia!!!!! heartache. Will this work in my Gaggia?

You won't find a recipe for it in any book. And it may not even be in your favorite barista's vocabulary. But, caffè sospeso delivers a pick-me-up like no other.
Said to have originated in Naples roughly a century ago, caffè sospeso is an act of kindness through coffee. The name translates to...

What does it mean when my Brewtus IV surges during a 25 second shot? It usually happens about 15 seconds in. Plenty of water in the tank. Is it time for a cleaning perhaps?

I adore my Brewtus IV! Using a mix of Illy whole bean caf and decaf, which I grind at a 13 in Rancilio Rocky

Hi Mjackson, Thanks for your response, what i wanted to say is i like to drink black coffee i don't like too strong or too bitter , just moderate . Dark roast in my opinion make it a way bitter i think . I like the combination of both robusta and arabica cause it make a good and nice flavor cup of coffee this is what we use in my country ( north africa) and we use Old Style Italian Coffeemaker for espresso ( looks like a presser cook , we have all the selection from 1 cups to 6 cups) , you can make an espresso ( strong ) coffee if you like it with milk or less if you like it black . Unforntunatly here in America all they have it's coffee made with arabica only !! now i'm trying Lavazza , i've thought i will give a try , I got a friend in France who drinks "lavazza matino " i couldn't find it , so today i've ordered "lavazza Gran aroma" which has 40% rbusta and 60% aabica ; we'll see , hopefully that gonna be the one . Thank you Mjackson for your time , all my regards.

I'm new to the WLL community and have been trying to decide on a new espresso machine for at-home, daily use. When I searched this site, I found 4 Gaggias and 2 Krups that fit my under $250 budget.
I really only make cappucino and latte drinks, rarely an espresso, so the wand and frothing features are important. Can anyone advise me which machine to purchase? Thanks in advance!
