Titusville Chicken

Titusville Chicken

Moistest, most flavorful chicken you will ever serve.

Tired of drying out your chicken on the Grill? Try this recipe.

Lightly season chicken breasts or thighs with salt, pepper, and a little lemon-pepper marinate, let sit while you prepare the sauce.

Grab your favorite bar-b-q sauce (about 16-24 oz.) and pour it into a disposable cooking pan (about 16X16, depending on how much chicken you are preparing) over a low heat on your inside stove. Add two-three table spoons of brown sugar, and about 4-6 oz. of 7-Up. Stir until all the brown sugar has dissolved.

Keep warm until completing the next step.

Over medium heat (350 degrees) on your grill (gas or charcoal) cook chicken, but for only a few minutes on each side until it is a nice golden brown.

Take the deposable pan with the sauce out to the grill and place over a low heat. Place the chicken IN THE SAUCE, and continue to cook for 35-40 minutes. Turn and cover chicken with the sauce, and continue to turn occasionally. This is a slow cook method, so the sauce should only simmer slightly.

After you are done, remove chicken from the sauce pan and put the sauce in small serving dishes for your guests to use.

The chicken will be the most tender and moist chicken you have ever had. It will not dry out while cooking in the sauce. Enjoy!
