Baratza Virtuoso Coffee Grinder - Preciso Burrs
Baratza Virtuoso Coffee Grinder - Preciso Burrs

This is my first real coffee grinder and I am thoroughly impressed with this machine. This first thing to notice is the heavy duty construction, a very solid built machine. As for grinding it grinds very consistently time after time for my espresso machine and my drip coffee maker. I was unsure at...

Ive been using my gaggia classic for a week, all of a sudden my pucks in my nonpressurized basket are a soupy mess, is there something wrong with 3-way solenoid or maybe there is something wrong with my technique, since i am new to this?

A A Chris, The pucks from a Pressurized basket are generally more wet than with a Commercial basket. It could also mean that the grind is too fine or too coarse. You can try letting the portafilter sit in the machine for a little bit to let the ground absorb more water too.

If you can find fresh roasted beans, something that has actual roast date on it, you will find you have been missing a huge piece of the "perfect cup" puzzle, fresh roast has flavor i never knew existed in coffee.

Kyle Macey ♦ Hmmm... Maybe if you had the same browser tab or window open for some time, and were using that to check your reputation points, the screen doesn't update until you refresh or navigate and come back. So, it may have seemed like your points were not updating, but we were getting the updates here.
Sorry for any confusion!

Tracys ♦ Chris, you will see your points on your dash board. Your points will be converted to Latte Rewards within 60 days. 100 points will equal $2 in latte rewards. The latte rewards will be redeemable for gift certificates which you can use toward future purchases. What will you use your gift certificates toward?

What steam wand comes with gaggia classic is it pannarello wand? Whats the difference between the pannarrello and pannarello latte art wand?

A A Chris,

The Gaggia Classic comes with a Pannarello wand. It's design is to insert air into the milk to froth without the need to spin the milk. The Latte Art Wand is a hybrid, in the sense that with the outer part on, it works as a Pannarello wand. When you take the cover off though, the inner wand will act as a single whole tip, allowing you more control, and the ability to froth milk as you would with a standard steam wand. It's a really handy wand! I have it on my Classic at home, and love using it. Hope this help!
